Professional Photo Video Production For Your Website or Blog

This user supplied me with his website which is obviously Poker related.

I supplied a photo video obviously centred around the whole subject of poker.

The request above made no mention at all of adding text to the photo video and the user is now refusing to pay for the photo video that has been supplied to him, according to his last pm message to me when I requested that he makes the full payment for my services and time put in on his behalf.

Sorry, there is no way I'm using that when although it's well done it has nothing to do with my site!

I specifically posted trying to find one done that would be useful to users trying to understand what my site does, and that video doesn't even have my site URL in it!

This poster leaves me absolutely no choice but to leave him a Negative iTrader for his refusal to pay for the photo video which he acknowledges has been in his words - "Well done."

If you find my first post on this thread I asked if he could do it, and the OP just went ahead and did it without asking me anything I wanted in the video then demanded payment.

What I got was a video that had a bunch of pictures of money and poker chips, but nothing related to my website and didn't even have my website URL in it.

Absolutely no benefit whatsoever to what he supplied me, and I was never even given the chance to supply him with the desired info.

While the videos he makes seem rather entertaining, I still have no need for a pointless video that doesn't relate to my site!

In fact, what I wanted was a video that showed users how my website works, I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this person in business and in life.

The fact that he gave me a negative itrader over this (when I didn't even contract him to do the service, I was just inquiring if/how/when he could do it) has thouroughly pissed me off, so I will now post this same message on any future thread the OP makes and will deliver a subsequent negative Itrader.

This person is clearly a child, and didn't even attempt to deliver the desired product after I indicated I would not pay him for his rushed out service that is utterly useless to me.

Strongly reccomend avoiding this person and any business dealings with him or her.

Sad that he has positive Itraders from posters that seem happy with his service, for he completely tried to swindle me out of cash but jumping on a project without asking.

And for the record, if someone does want to deliver a video of high quality showing WHAT MY WEBSITE DOES, I would pay up to $100 for it without hesitating.

I will happily be making sure all future threads by this poster recieve this information as well, and good luck to anyone else who attempts to deal with this guy, seems I'm one of just a few with an issue.

A lesson for you OP - ask what a client wants before doing any work, I've been in business for longer than you have lived most likely.

 

I'm calling you out on this, you most certainly put in a request for a photo video from myself:

The operative words here: "I'd like one for the website in my avatar ..." - rakevip(dot)com - a poker site.

And you are now claiming that that was not an order for a photo video, well, you could a fooled me.

If it wasn't saying that, what was it saying? Hmmmmm?

And then you go on in your tirade above that you intend to post this up, this same post comments of yours, on every future thread that I make. How charming is that? I think this just proves what an unsavoury individual you are obviously to deal with.

The fact is at the end of the day, that you were supplied with your photo video as requested and afterwards you flat out refused to pay for it, so who's swindling who here?

Since you have not paid for it, it is you that has swindled me out of my money for I have supplied to you the photo video, which took up my time and expertise. I do believe you need to get your facts straightened out. I've come across your sort before.

Here you are making a threat against me, as you wrote yourself above:

2/ I just got back my photo video for my latest site it looks very good.

Very fast turnaround and when I didn't really care for the original song, he changed it very quickly for me.

I think a video on your home page is a good way to pump up your visitors or show them the type of items you have on your site. Most people like videos and it's not intrusive. They either choose to play it or not.

I'll be ordering a few from Mark.

3/ Mark produced a video for me and I'm very happy with the result. He chose very effective photos and coupled them with a great (and relevant) music track. And I got the finished video in a matter of hours.

5/ I got my video and Wow! - I was impressed with how quick it was done, all I provided was my website where I wanted the photos to be taken from and the music track, and within a couple of hours I had it embedded in my site, the quality of the video was superb, I have had other video services on here and the quality of the video, is nothing compared with this. Now I have seen this in action, I will use this service to create YouTube videos with advertising in them.

I sent over the images last night around 10pm and the video was created by 4:30am our time ...... This was a fantastic response time!

He has achieved what we were after, and I cant stop playing the video over and over again!

You cant even buy the software to create video's like that, for the kind of money he charges, yet alone buy the experience this user has, of creating these kind of videos.

12/ Just had Mark do another for me for one of my other sites. Came out great. Captured the mood of my site perfectly with the music and photos.

For those wondering if you should get one, I recommend you do. I know the video doesn't have much search engine value but for those coming to your site it's a good way to showcase the types of product you offer.

I get a kick out of watching the videos on my own site.

Here's my opinion of your service ...

To say I'm 'gobsmacked' would be an understatement. Knowing the pressure he's under and the hours he's working to fulfil orders, I'm totally blown away. I told Mark there was no hurry in completing my video, but within a couple of hours (well into the wee hours of the morning, his time) he'd finished it.

I've just been looking at it and can't stop replaying it. The music he chose to go with it is outstanding, and makes a very dull subject (although needed) sound so exciting I nearly bought off my own site! Plus the time it must have taken to source the pictures and decide on the transitions makes the price seem ridiculous.

I will definately be using his services again and recommend anyone else to grab a video before he starts charging what he's worth.
