i always wondered...what do you need to open a hosting company? not for the papers, for the internet part...how many servers do you need or how do you give people domains?
i intend to create a free hosting and give free sub-domains but can't seem to find how to do this..can anyone give me a hand here please?
    also an estimate cost maybe?
    thanks in advance

Theres no way anyone can give you an estimated cost.
Sign up with hostgator reseller, they offer a free billing panel and free domain reseller. It easy to set up with a reseller but you will then need funds for advertising.

you can start off with a single pc and you can use web host manager to manage your hosting accounts

Emm.. Well you still need to buy a reseller account. I mean you don't resell and the host will also profit. You just resell the account for your own profit.
Try searching at DP BST at hosting.
    I suggest Iwhick~ Goodluck in your mission.:D

p/s- a simple tq would be cool

It probably depends on how popular the video's are in the end. The more people buy them the more money you should get.

People have given you the answer already, but here goes:

Get a reseller account from a major hosting company. A reseller account gives you the server resources and client management software (typically WHMCS or ClientExec) to manage it, and cPanel to deal with the technical parts. Once you have that, then you just create a single product in WHMCS and offer it for $0.00 as a hosting package. If you setup WHMCS properly, then it will run just fine. Most reseller accounts will run from $20-$100/month depending on the features.

The other way is to get a dedicated server and setup all the technical parts yourself, which I wouldn't recommend unless you really know your way around Apache or IIS. Dedicated servers will run you $200-$300/month.

thanks for the tips...my question was how can i open a hosting co..MYSELF...without having to buy a reseller account...how can i do one like all other hosting companies? what kind of hardware do i need and how to do it.i don't want to pay someone for a reseller account each month and have who knows what troubles if someone uploads porn or anything forbidden and get banned...i prefer to buy 100 servers since i get them cheap and open one myself.

    The do this:

    1) Buy 10-15 rackservers ($1000+ each)
    2) Setup space at a major backbone hub (fees will vary depending on the traffic you put through their network)
    3) Hire a Network Administrator to set it up ($70,000/year in the US)
    4) Launch your site
    5) Watch as you've just blown $100,000+ to setup a hosting company to offer free web hosting services
    6) Watch as your company sucks in thousands of dollars every month in salaries, usage fees, and repairs while you bring in only a few bucks every month from advertising revenue
    7) File for bankruptcy
