Why would it be prefetching Digg.com when i'm sitting on a plain blank page on my server and nothing else running?

Also my Firefox beats out Chrome in the speed department.

I was going to say how much I love the right-click "Inspect element" when I managed to hang Chrome... but it did come sort itself out after 20 secs.

The amount memory this browser uses isn't bad at all, it seems to be consuming far less than my beloved FireFox...

It looks good so far but I find it disappointing how it won't show the homepage when you open a new tab.
Has anybody managed to change that?

Then your system needs fixing. I suggest reformatting and reinstalling Windows cause, obviously, you are having problems no one else is.

    Set it under options.

EDIT: Wait. You want new tabs to open the home page? I'm not sure any browser does that. Or at least I don't have mine set to do it except when I start it up.

For the person who asked earlier about showing bookmarks on all pages, right click on other bookmarks and select always show bookmarks bar, now you have it on all windows.

Sadly it seems to me that Firefox have most to lose as most firefox users are interested enough to look at alternative browsers. I can't see that the 80% of IE users will change, if they were interested then they would already have ditched IE for FF

So have you run packet capture on this?

I didn't think so, can't you see what process is connecting to Digg.com? Yeah Chrome.exe and funny that, i uninstalled the browser and the problem is gone so why you are suggesting to uninstall Windows when you have no clue what your talking about i'll never know.

I have a serious question regarding this browser.
As most of us here are webmasters, does this mean we'll eventually need to cross-check our pages with this new browser as well?
I'm already breathless from checking all the other platforms with each fresh idea I put to the web......

    Also-
How does it compare to IE and Firefox as publishing is concerned?
Just wondering if it is compliant as one or the other.
    Hope this makes sense...

So this explains why google dropped the FireFox referrals program.
I wonder if this will have a referrals program like they did for FireFox.
