I'm having a hard time determining the value of links in a blog post. Most of the time, even if the homepage of the blog is a PR6, the blog posts don't show any PR. I'm curious how others value a link in a highly targeted blog post about your niche? Do you base it off of the main blog's PR? Something else?
If they are "DoFollow" links, they will help. They may not give you page rank, but the keyword in the Anchor Text of the link will help you. I try to keep 50% of my link from Forums, Blogs, etc. If they are stable and long lasting, I feel that they are good.
Hi, i think if these links are in relevant category with "do follow" it give some boost for your site.
yes home page having rank but lblog post don't show any PR bcoz they count as new page. Use do-follow blogs to backlinking.
Well if your motive is to gain PR then I believe that it would not be of much use to you but if you are targeting keywords and view it as a source to get more visitors then it surely does matter. The traffic from the blog can be effectively channelized to you website.
Backlinks coming from relevant and unique content (for rankings), popular blog (for traffic), and do-follow. If you're getting these blog links, they worth buying.
Always do-follow links from blogs will be useful. And they will give u more links in the way of feeds also. Bcoz, all blogs will have automatic atoms and they will generate u the traffic and backlinks.
