This sounds really promising. I really like the idea of the pop-up blocker that lets you drag pop-ups out into their own window only if you really want it (page 23 of the comic).

One thing I've always wanted to be able to do in a browser is rip a tab off one window into its own. With each tab being its own process, shouldn't it be possible to do this easily now? I hope Google implements something like that, because there are times I don't feel like opening up Firefox again, copying the URL, pasting it, and waiting for it to load again. I just want to tear it off.

Where can we download Google Chrome from?

Is it free or we had to purchase it?

I'm also pretty excited about it. Being a web developer, my only concern is web standards. Let's hope Chrome will comply with them... I'd hate to work my butt off to make my sites look good on Chrome too :S IE is already doing that.

I've noticed that a LOT of domain names are already registered with chrome in the URL. Any trademark issues from this with Google? I would assume it would just be promoting their browser but still not sure if it's okay or not.

Read the comic. Please. It'll tell you everything; it's built on WebKit, the same stuff Safari is built on, so it will render everything just as Safari would, essentially.

explore and plugin will take the place of software and OS. There is a trend of portable OS, web OS .
There will be a day, everything is over explore. The day will definitely come.
I am still watching goooogle and MS .

I did. Still, while Safari works like a charm most of times I believe that Firefox is better when it comes to web standards. Hopefully, so will Chrome.

Its backend is completely different though. Each tab you open up is a different process, so even if one tab crashes, your browser will still be fine. Again, you should probably read the comic to learn more about it.

You got it wrong. Chrome DOES use source code from Firefox and for what is worth it will be also open source.

I'll stay away from it though. Google is big enough as it without a browser in their portfolio. I know, I have trust issues.

    Regards, George
