YPN vs Google Adsense?

I have never used Yahoo Publisher Network before, and I was wondering how it compares to google adsense's CTR and earning per click?

Well, YPN is in beta mode and only accepts a few publishers.
YPN also only pays for clicks from US visitors. If your website receives a large international audience, then you can forget about YPN.
YPN ads are NOT well targeted. You'll get plenty of ads that have nothing to do with your website. Their ad targeting is horrible and obviously needs more work.
The payout per click is comparable to adsense.
    I would stick with adsense.

I don't think YPN ads are as relevant as Adsense ads, because Adsense has many more advertisers than YPN. More advertisers on a network means a greater probability of relevant ads showing on your site. And more relevant ads means a greater click-thru ratio.

    I disagree folks..

At least with mine. YPN has been well targeted the last few months for me..

If I write a Tech article. I.e Blackberry, then I get Blackberry & Tech stuff on my page..

Yesterday I wrote a article about "the 3 day Cancer walk in Chicago" and we have Health Ads..

    I also target with Keywords..

    Guess what.. it works..

As for Payment for Clicks, I have used both and YPN has done "MUCH" better then Googles.. I would say but it is against "TOS" to speak about it.

    Just my FYI.

I think if YPN opened up to the world, their earnings as a company would ROCKET. It's the only thing that is giving those ****s at Google the leg up.

In theory you would think this would help. But they simply do not have the backend in place to do this. There is a reason they signed on with Google to display Ads on the Yahoo Sites. Such a reason that there is a 250 Million Dollar penalty if they terminate the agreement.

Yahoo doesn't have the advertiser base that Google has.

YPN works great on some sites and pays crap on others. It's all about the niche and traffic source ;)

I have used both Adsense and YPN, and YPN actually pays less per click for me.

Early on YPN was great, but the payouts for me have fallen too far. I'm back with G but keep YPN active in case it starts to bloom again!

One more thing There is no comparison b/w Adsense and YPN :) I have worked on both. Adsense is paying much more then YPN.

"Flow in the direction in which river flows,if you flow in opposite with river you will be in trouble"
Google Adsense gives you high payout than any other pub network.Sice YPN is not internationalised it is bit difficult for publisher to get in YPN.
Its your wish what you decide!
