Anyone seen a penalty like this before?

    Thre domains.
    Two brands.
    I foolishly forwarded a webaddress to the new big bucks domain name.
    I think the G bot picked up on this and shredded the result.

    I believe it was down to a simple forwarding of a domain name. That domain name is our brand name. Innocently forwarded it to a new domain name, that is a site only three months old. Seemed harmless enough. A better looking site, and esier to use. The new domain name is outperforming not only the new site, but just about any other site in the niche.
    What I have done is confuse G
    Mistake rectified, I hope.
    If not I have a few ideas.

    Many thanks for everyones help, and to everyone at Google. I made a couple of mistakes that caused this. Thanks for so many prompt replies to this thread and support which really did help.
