India has a record of some of the worst human rights violation in the World. Indian troops have been criticized by Kashmiris and International human rights groups for using excessive force to quell protests in a region where tens of thousands of people have been killed in a revolt against Indian rule.

What Indian rule? Kashmir is run by elected leaders. We don't import leaders from other states into Kashmir. Its a democracy. Kashmir is a special state, and not even the President of India can buy property in that state. it was set aside solely for the Kashmiris. Its only after 1989 Soviet-Afghan War, that these militants started coming to Kashmir from Afghanistan to cause trouble. It was very peaceful and prosperous all these decades...

About Indian police, yes, they are cruel. They still operate on colonial-era rules, which were formulated not to help people, but to suppress rebellion in India by the British imperialists. But it has not changed, and may never change. In a way, such draconian laws help to keep people in line, though I and many others may find them to be oppressive. But so is China... and Russia... You should write about them too...

That was a funny video indeed... :D
I hope Kashmiris have a peaceful month of Ramazan. And I hope the Afghans have a peaceful month... And I hope and pray he blockade and siege of Gaza ends and Palestinians have a peaceful and prosperous month as well. And not to forget the Iraqis... And Georgia... and Thialand... And the African continent... and the hurricane-ravaged nations of Central America... and the flood-torn region of Bihar in India...

    Whats happening to this world?

There will always be problems in the world and people will have to solve them [Or fail at solving them].

World wars, black death, big dictators ...... the list goes on.

Earth has never been entirely free of problems and probably never will be. All we can hope is to live happily amidst the chaos and help others to achieve that as well.

There has to be a huge leap in the way humanity acts towards itself for us to make this change. This is the only way to evolve as a species, but so far from what i have seen (and this is all over the world), not much has changed over the past 10000 years. Like i have been saying all along, i think age of nanotechnology will change all of this and in abig way. Hopefully we will reach this age before we destroy ourselves.

    True.

Considering the natural world, animals fight and sometimes kill each other. But they always do so for some reason and don't go around the world killing or hurting the animals they "hate" or compete with or just randomly. Man should learn some lessons from his "lesser" co-habitants.
