I am not doing too badly at the moment with a new site I have started www.RealEstateWhangarei.co.nz , but before that with another site I was averaging about $1.50 a day. Their payments are so erratic you really can't keep track of it. Some days I make $.20 from 4 or 5 clicks other days I am making of $2 per click. It's crazy!
A few new blogs that I starte in Jue.. that is all that I have.. July - 42000 pageviews around $150 August - 113,000 page views aound $325. How does it look? I earn in USD and get the money in my currency Rupees (1USD=43IR). So I got around Rs 6400 in first month and Rs. 13000 in August has been earned.
I am okay with the money I am making but of course, I want to reach my full potential and I think my sites can make it.
I just started with adsense and I'll make sure to post any earning that I receive. I'll try to make a good guide if it works out!
I've made over $500 so far this month. My traffic is about 10 -12K + Unique Visitors per month mostly from search engines. I rank for over 5,000 keyword phrases. 23% of my traffic is people who return to the site. The best advice I can give you is Unique Content. Edit: I should also add that my blog has 88 unique handwritten articles on it so far. My site is 2 years old. In Google analytics the average time spent on my website is over 2 1/2 minutes. I think that's pretty decent for a blog.
@oregonthunder : Average time spent on my website is 2 1/2 minutes :- That's good stay. I am still struglling hard for better revenue. All the Best with your venture
I've been at it for almost 2 years with slow and steady progress, every month I seem to add about $3-$5 to my total monthly income. This month I should top $250 for the first time which was a goal of mine for this year. I have about 10 sites but truthfully only two of them represent the majority of my income. I keep designing or buying up sites and selling lesser sites that aren't working well. If this keeps up, it looks like I might have a retirement plan One thing I have noticed is that my earnings are the most stable they have ever been. They used to be all over the place and some months I didn't get a check. I don't exactly know what has changed, but it seems I can count on that $3-$5 per month increase now every month. I wrote this thread last year on my progress. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2037659
There are numerous methods, but it really depends on the type of site. If your site is an informational site, probably the best way to drive traffic is to be the highest in a google search for your keywords. If your site is a site that would probably not be found in a search, say a fun game, good old fashioned marketing might be your best bet.
