How to make a site like "the rich jerk"?

I was wondering how I could do this? Is it possible in a wordpress blog? Whats the easiest way? Also, is this kind of site profitable? Please respond.

But also with just a simple html page

Haven't looked at it lately but its one html page of nonsense. Anything designed in that fashion reeks of a scam. Granted there are plenty of nit wits on the web that fall for that sort of thing.

Its a simple HTML page with attractive and colored text and images...and yes, don't go with such a design, as most of these websites are known scams....

 

Rich Jerk isn't a terrible E-Book but it is so basic and the info can be found in many places for free on blogs. The website is a basic website that you could create easily via any CMS.

 

Do you mean a site to tell others how to get rich on the internet? Why would you want to there are a zillion sites like this.

Yes wordpress is easy to use and you could set up something similar. I use wordpress. I am not a techie guy but I have figured out how to do my site myself (you can check out my site at the link below)

My guess is this one is for him, but there are a LOT of people who thought they would get rich on the internet easily and it just doesn't happen that way. Can you get rich, sure but you have to be smart, and make the effort.Most give up without making anything, some make a modest amount, not enough to live on and a VERY few make a good living.

 

It is just a simple page. The success of rich jerk lies behind his marketing but not the page layout!

 

The basic thing to make money from these kind of sites is to make them a "hype". Advertise them everywhere, buy reviews etc etc just make the site popular, once done, you are going to make good ROI.

 

Thanks for the responses. I dont think these kinds of sites are scams. I mean, they are, and they arent. Yes, Most of the information these sites give you can be found free. But, what is the quickest way to make money? Selling information. Most people are to lazy to research and find what they are looking for. They want it to be handed to them. Why do you think there are so many infomercials and sites like this? They have to be making money. Well, atleast some.

 

It is very simple to build that kind of site, but it looks awful to me. Honestly!

Move on and think of something different

 

People will buy anything it seems. So the odds are in your favor

1. You can get a free wordpress design just like that one at many places just google it. Some people are selling their designs really cheap here too.
2. To get the character, you can go to deviantart dot com. People do chibis and animation commissions for as cheap at $15 or cheaper.
3. Find your own scheme..you can do the jerk scheme or the a$$hole scheme it doesnt matter
4. Compile a list of ways to make money 10- 20, there are free resources EVERYWHERE. Take the list and expound it. Give examples. Or you can pay someone else to do this by going to scriptlance dot com
You can make this in pdf form and call it your "secerets" or etc.
5. Charge people a decent price for your list or ebook maybe $10 like he did. Charging too high may scare away potential customers.
6. Post pictures of all the things you can obtain by buying your list/ebook.

I'm not a professional in this sort of thing, but its how I would do it...that is if I wanted to do it
