my blog hosted at blogger has got good page rank i.e, 3 but not many visitors to my blog i think 10 unique visitors per day. How can i improve the visitors to my site. techbreez.com is my blog. my blog is too old. can any one give suggestion.
LOL.. PR has no relation with traffic. Submit your blog articles to some social bookmarking sites like digg, etc and it will get you some traffic.
Check what's the estimated traffic for your main keywords here: http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ Not check where do you rank for them in Google? That will answer your question I'm sure you will find this interesting and useful: http://www.seomoz.org/article/beginners-guide-to-search-engine-optimization
can you see my blog and tell me which suites to my blog.I am now writting posts on laptops, mps, ipod, mobiles, etc. I am going to write on security also. About blogging, seo. Is it good to write these many categories in my blog.
No - keep to one niche and make yourself an expert on that. Do the opposite of what you're suggesting - narrow it down. Do keyword research and think about what you know best to identify a niche within a niche and write the best blog on the web on that subject. Do not alllow the thought of writing an SEO blog to ever enter your head- you're only getting 10 visitors a day, so clearly you don't know anything about SEO
i dont know much about seo . i want to write on security, blogging, seo, gadgets, how tos on myblog. Is there any problem if i do like that.
If you're doing it as a hobby - of course not, write about anything you like - if you want to monetize it and/or get significant amounts of traffic, then it won't work. You're competing against too many blogs in too many niches that know an awful lot more about those subjects than you, and have better content, and better promotion.
like "magda" said ... try to keep ur posts on selected niches ... need to be analysed a lot .... try to have powerful content with targeted keyword researched ... which can get good rankings on search engines to get traffic through there. search engine traffic is the best rather then getting traffic from SB sites and others.
Target keywords that received a huge number of traffic on the web. Choose a search term that has less competition but has high number of searches. Having a high ranking on that keyword will definitely brings tons of traffic into your site.
so i will write on laptops, mobiles, ipods, mobile tips, softwares, then my blog can do better.i am hiring a seo.k.this takes my blog higher.
I'd still say write about EITHER laptops OR mobiles OR ipods OR mobile tips, OR software. In fact I'd still say - choose one of those, and narrow it down further - do some keyword research as to what within those subjects gets searched for enough to make it worthwhile writing about, but not so much that they're too competitive - like - this is off the top of my head - laptops for gamers But, it's your blog, ultimately, write what you enjoy writing about.
Although your blog was setup quite some time ago but I can see that it is not regularly updated with enough contents. I mean I can see there's only 1 post in 2 months period. Try to work on that. More contents having better keywords will mean better chance to rank well in SE and thus driving traffic to your blog.
PR will never bring any traffic, you need to have good SERPs in order to get traffic. Do SEO for your site and try to improve your SERPs.
I can't decide the keywords for you. It's something you should decide for yourself. You an either focus on many long tail keywords or some high traffic major keywords. If you're new to SEO, read the SEOMoz link in my previous post
PR does'nt mean anything. Try article marketing and do seo for your site! Do some research about your niche and get some long tail keywords and rank it!
I have a tip for you. Sign up for forums relating to what you're writing about, and put in your signature links to your blog posts. Do not put a link to your blog's homepage, it will look more like spam. But put a link to a good post of yours. Visitors in turn will find your blog's homepage. There are thousands of huge tech forums out there. Go to big-boards.com But be careful about it, don 't overdo it. It's easy to get banned. Play it slow and take your time. PATIENCE.
Ask not "what is my PageRank" but rather "how does my page rank". Your visible PR (what shows up in that little green bar) has no direct relation to your rankings other than showing that the site has strength. PR3 is not great. It's not bad but it's not great and if you're up against solid sites (PR4 and 5) then a PR3 really isn't much. You have to look at where you show up for the phrases searched in your industry and whether your title and description that show up are clickable. Good luck !!!
