Don't you mean the other way around? Would make more sense. Maybe a better description is:

SEO is a part of your marketing strategy.

Not true. SEO delivers the best ROI when comparing visitors to sales with the possible exception of a targeted email campaign.

I do still stick to people who says that SEO is a part of marketing strategy.
Loads of other tricks are considered aliens to others....

I manage over 50 client sites, many of them get found for >3000 different keyword phrases each month. Conversion rates range from 5%->1% far exceeding any other form of traffic than a very targeted email campaign.

If search traffic isn't converting then you're probably targeting the wrong keywords or there is other issues with the product, price or page conversion.

agree, SEO is a part of internet marketing. Do you think they type pepsi.com or google pepsi and click the result? another example, when you want a hamburger, you google and then click links from SERPs or type KFC or McDonald? that's the way marketing do and SEO is only a component of marketing :D

As I said, there are over 50 sites, and as they're clients disclosing them on a public forum is pretty unprofessional. I'm sure if you visit my sig links you can work out most of them yourself ;)

    YOUR site, Matt, not theirs.

But you knew that, didn't ya? :D

Definitely, Low Man. But, how would one make money from it? Putting ads on the page is one way, right? But remember, less than 2% click on ads, and it would take a lot of traffic to make even a little bit of of money off of adsense and or other kinds of ads.

Internet Marketing = SEO + SEM

    Fine

But Internet Marketing = content publishing + content management + creativity (finding good concepts) + optimization (finding the best niches and the best monetization sources) ... too ...

I'm not talking about adsense and MFA sites, I'm talking about conversion rates on real sites that actually sell something or offer services. Ad CTR is a very different thing to page conversion rates.

We should believe that Adwords should be placed under SEO section. Why? Because it's a factor in SEO itself, isn't it?

    Should i continue?

Internet Marketing is actually a normal marketing, yet, this internet marketing are having different name for different method, where it carries another name too....

Let see... Is it true? We'll see below.

Advertising in real marketing..... Its more or less like a banner in internet marketing.....

    How can i say so?
An example, if you see a computer ads in a bar.... What do you think?
If you see beer ads in a bar, then you know it's the place to be...
If you see a loads beer ads all over the bar with different brands, then you know that the bar is quite busy with guests from time to time......

It works exactly the same in internet marketing....
You need to put ads of your services/products/businesses in the right spot.... let it may be a forum, a websites or even a blog.... Yep, some blog it's also full with visitors... And they are so fanatics with other reviews or opinion. Take note in this.

Buying an ad space on the site/blog regarding your products/services is a good buy (knowing that you have checked the site background=ranks and visitors).

Then i just conclude 1 part of the internet marketing....
Well, i usually got paid for this.... :) For DP'ers i'll share some. :p
Anyone care to add on this?
