How do you change the copyright details on a mp3???

    when you play a song on wmplayer to the right of the volume it flashes the song title than album title then copyright details..some website make their domain name show up in copyright details..when i right click on a song and go to propertys i dont see where i can edit the copyright details...any1 know??

    You need a software to edit those details.
    I don't remember the name but I guess its called 'MP3 Tagger'

    no need any software its simple go properties summary then advance then you will see from there u edit everything u need to edit :)

    Some protected MP3s can only be edited using a third party utility :)

    Maybe in his eagerness to help he didn't read your post fully. Get off your high horse..

    Also, as some mentioned earlier, mp3tagger should work. http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ allows you to change meta tags.

    right click on them, go to properties. It is in there, under a tab named "details" on Vista (i'd assume it's the same on XP). But some might be locked when the mp3 is created (not sure if they can be, but i'd assume so).

    Winamp will do too.

    First make sure that the MP3 is not read only (if it is change this attribute). Load the MP3 in Winamp, right click it, select "View file info..." and you're good to go.

    if you are using windows media player, Right click on song name in play list, click on advanced tag editor, edit the tags & save it . That's it :)
