xml sitemap generator for big sites

I have a page with 4000+ subpages, but mostly sitemap generators have limit of 500 pages. Is there any unlimited online sitemap generator?

Have you looked at www.xml-sitemaps.com ? There is a limit with the free version I believe.

Here's your answer. Surveyor is a new sitemap generator for Dreamweaver. I just used it on one 9,000 page site and one 14,000 page site. I had the same problem as you with the free XML sitemap generators.

 

what cms do you use? wordpress and drupal have automated plugins and most cms app have them too.

 

I just bought the xml-sitemaps.com for $19.99 for the unlimited pages as I am currently SEO 3 sites. Seemed like it was worth it.

I guess it's an old problem - create sitemaps for big websites.
I have a site with MediaWiki engine, which has more than 5000 webpages (exceeded a long time ago). I used to use the engine's Google sitemap plugin, but that was limited to 500 pages. Trying to solve the problem I came across Sitemap Writer Pro. The trial version crawled my website in 15 minutes, but couldn't export the sitemap. So, I've bought a license, it seems a bit expensive, but I think it's the only solution.

 

I've been using this version for over a year. It is good for an unlimited number of pages/sites (my ecommerce site had over 19000 and it handled them all-not that I want that many, but it WILL do it)

 

Do they have a version for a windows server instead of linux?
