    What website promotion technique would everyone prefer to use for website promotion strategies and why? Search engine optimization or Pay-Per-Click ? :eek:

    SEO is long term process and PPC is short term process.So in the case of traffic too.

    When working for a client I see that getting an organic rank is usually more beneficial, however the rank is not always easy to achieve.

    I prefer to recommend SEO for low competition keywords where I know I can succeed otherwise I recommend PPC.

    SEO in an ideal word is better, being free and all. But it will cost you a lot of time and money to get high up for competitve search terms!

    It really depends on what your products are, and how often you need the main keyword to change etc...
