The PR is for the BLOG and not the page itself! There are a couple of principles that pertain to backlinks that I would like to cover first. The first is that there is a fallacy that abounds regarding backlinks. That fallacy goes something like this: “The website carries High Page Rank, but the place I am leaving my link is on a low or non-existant Page Rank “inner pageâ€. I won't get a good backlink this way. While this may be true with a few websites, for the most part, this is COMPLETELY FALSE!! In almost every case, the webmaster is given at least one credit for having a backlink from the website's main, High Page Rank page.
