Hi, im from montreal, canada and i watch cnn and follow barack omaba on tv but im not a us citizen, i want to know if you are a u.s citizen what you think about barack obama and what he can do for your country ? Thanks.

 

I think I do not trust him. He flip flop.

I thought Barack Obama did a great job at last weeks 'Democratic National Convention', but his position on many issues are too liberal for many Americans. The one issue that will hurt Obama the most this November will be his stand on offshore oil drilling in Florida and California. When gas prices were cheap, most Americans were against drilling for new oil offshore. However, with gas prices still high - being against looking for more domestic oil will be a loser for Obama in November. In recent weeks, Obama has changed his absolutely no offshore drilling position to a well maybe we could do some drilling. However, I'm afraid the damage has already been done to his campaign.

 

I'm from the UK, but I'm a Conservative so aligned to the Republican way of thinking. On a fundamental level I don't like Obama's politics. I'm not sure the US is ready for a radical.

 

Lets wait for a few months and then the situation will be clear....Hope Iraq situation gets finally solved

 

I like more Barack Omaba than McCain relied to Bush!!!

I think the few months to come will be verry interesting...

What has Obama done other than the color of his skin?

 

I like him a lot, but couldn't vote for McCain anyways. There's too big of a generational gap, and I rely on the internet for my money. Every year there's stupid legislation about the internet that goes in front of the president.
I feel like he would end up signing a bill with terrible implications just because he doesn't understand it all. Think along the lines of somehow making it illegal to buy a domain with the letter "a" or something.

 

It's not the color who matter, it's what he represent for the futur of america. Do you think old john mccain ''the white air dude'' is ready to lead ?

What does he represent? What has he done while in washington. He is a great speaker but he has not done crap.

On other forum some say we don't trust Barack Obama at all, i respect this but you have only 2 choice.
Mc Cain or Obama ! McCain look like Bush it's some gamik for making money..!!! Obama is a familly guy who can bring some fresh air to the u.s i think u.s will be better with obama than mccain who is not shure to live to 2012!.

 

I think his trump card is his quality speaking skills and who would want someone that is in his 70s anyway.

Here in canada any citizen cannot give money to the gouvernement or people who try to become the prime minister. It's really different in canada that's why i like u.s politic.
