I've heard that getting high quality backlinks will boost your ranking in the searchengines and I built some squidoo lenses, blogger blogs, hubpages, weebly, submitted articles to ezinearticles, etc. The homepages of these sites have a high PR rating, but the blogs/articles that gets published have a 0 PR. Is linking to my site from a 0 PR page from those sites any different than any other link? Are those 0 PR pages at those sites any different 0 PR pages on my site? Thanks
You should also try out to get backlinks to your inner pages and organize your internal linking structure.
Maybe I should rephrase that. Am I just wasting my time trying to get a link from a high PR site? PR isn't passed from page to page so basically I'd be getting a link from a 0 PR webpage. Which I assume would be the same as getting any other 0 PR link, or am I missing something. Am I just wasting time building a blog, lense or writing an article, as opposed to just getting a link?
Since its coming from a high ranked domain, I think some of the juice from the homepage eventually goes to your link
Yeah I believe you're right. But seeing 0 PR for the articles, blogs and lenses submitted months ago had me wondering. Thanks
