I use them...it helps to just keep track of their top converting offers (which they list and it updates daily). I've been paid as well.
yea they still have got lots of issues, and the surveys are very long and a user may not wish to do them but there is no cancel button like there is on zango so if you are getting tons fo search engine traffic and you don't have very unique content then you are pretty much screwed because chances are the user will just press the back button and go back to google and find a better site
Also, the time when I got to a site with their lock, I've had 2 surveys available, but none of the worked, because they were ment to be pointed to users from other countries and the advertisers just decided to load a blank page for users that come from my country, so I was pretty much screwed, because I couldn't fill the surveys (not that I wanted) and I couldn't access the site otherwise (well, I can use AdBlock Firefox extension to block the CPALEAD script from loading), and it's not the kind of experience I want my website visitors to have. ZangoCash is FAR FAR better!
I checked out their offers (surveys) and found that they offer bit lower payouts compared to other networks.

Actually there is a close button, you should talk to their techs, there is even an option to customize the image and the text on the gateway. I don't use the close button right now, it really lowered my conversions on this one, but you are basically giving them the amount of seconds you want to have the users wait (could be 0) until they have an option to close the window, it works like the RapidShare free download thing, with a count down timer.. Just ask your affiliate manager to talk to Charles and let him know what you need, there are many un-released options, remember, this is still in beta.
Yeah my AM has told me a new gateway is in beta.. For the moment though i have had my own gateway created for me. I get EPC of $0.50 on some offers but CPAlead 'choose' to have the freepay one first in the list on the gateway which pays out like $0.20 and i get a EPC of $0.01. That is bad for me .. period! They really need to make it so we can choose our own offers. When they do i will look into CPAlead.com again. Its a great system. Also anyone noticed that some offers are actually going to other aff networks offers? Like the Optical Express UK offer is actually redirecting to the Incentaclick offer page. We get a payout of $3.00 but the Incentaclick one pays out at $6.50
Glad to see this system is working out for everyone. For those of you who are looking for a "Close" button, we have that option available, but the count down option will be much better (Giving the users X number of seconds before they can proceed without filling out a survey). You just need to sign up and submit a ticket asking for the extra options. As we near towards the official release, we will have more and more options available for this tool. Actually when some offers don't convert as good as other for me, for example the Optical Express offer for the UK pays over $3, and the instant credit card pays a lot less, i logged in, went to Surveys, and clicked on the light switch next to the credit card survey, its now turned off and is not showing on my gateway, you should try this.. Incentive offers are not paying as good as non-incentive, when you are sending incentive traffic the networks will ban you if your doing it without permission, after getting permission the payout will be reduced to even 10% of the non-incentive version sometimes, or if its not reduced immediately it will later. I have a lot of experience in the incentive cpa marketing industry, and the cpalead gateway is more then i could ask for on these type of sites i'm running..
