Let's share~ I just review the chapters during a few days before the examination was hold.......NO.It's franker to said that I just learn the content of the chapters which the exam consists, during a few days before the examination was hold.
I've done a lot of exams. Little and often works best for me: it's far better to have 4 x 15 minute bursts of revision spread over the day than 1 hour at once. Similarly, it's far better to write revision notes than just read and remember chunks of text. I usually focus all my revision to the last fortnight before the exam.
Not necessarily 15 minutes every hour, no. Little and often - say 15 minutes 5 or 6 times a day. Even when I was revising for my PhD viva I never did more than about 2 hours a day. I find revising for longer than 15 minutes leaves you open to distractions - background noise, answering the door, making a cup of coffee or just getting bored.
I used to prepare for examinations through a combination of not revising, smoking pot and drinking. I tend to do a lot better if i don't revise. Makes no sense at all, I know.
i study just a few days before my exams start and i can proudly say that i fair much better than most! its the quality of study, not the quantity that matters..
How abt studing on the morning of the exam? try that you'll never forget anything! I used to get up at 2:30 in the mornin and study till 7:30 for my 8'o clock exam
depends on the exams in most cases I don't prepare but if I think they're important I'll study the stuff that the exam will be about for arround 1 hour and most time thats enough to get a good result
Best is try to get a good sleep before the actual exam date so that you can have a clear mind to think well.
