More than 100 unique articles + 500 backlinks = 2 SE visitors\day

Mind you, the site is only 3 months old. But I thought I would get more than 2 visitors per day from Google in that timeframe. Sandbox? Penalty?

    Site is http://www.dogscatshealth.com

Please advise if you feel like it.

1-) It has only 6 backlinks, not more than 500. Google's backlink count is different, not like Yahoo's.
2-) 3 months is quite enough to get traffic. At least quite enough to get more than 2 visitors a day.
3-) I see that your blog is hosted on blogspot.com. Google indexs blogspot hosted blogs frequently. At this point, there might be a problem here.

Infact i guess the problem. When i look at the titles of the posts, i see general titles. Competition is very high for general titles. You should find specisific titles for new posts. Also try to make new quality backlinks.

note: i know, this is out of our topic but, you need to expand your font size for a user-friendly blog.

    Have a nice day.

    Thanks for replying.

The first month I was receiving 50 unique/day, with around 20 articles (mostly long tail searches). Then visitors from Google vanished overnight about 2 months ago.

Now with more than 144 articles indexed (including many that are more popular than Laryngeal neoplasia - thank you for pointing this out though) i.e, dog heat symptoms for instance, but the site can't seem to rank for anything since then.

I'm just wondering what went wrong honestly.

You might want to work on getting some more links to your blog. You could submit your blog to free directories and some niche directories as well, that should help especially if you choose the titles you use for submissions carefully making sure that they're the terms you want to be targeting. Directory submissions is an easy way to get links with your chosen anchor text.

Apart from that, you may want to start promoting your blog more proactively when you comment on other blogs or by putting a signature link pointing to your blog, I don't even see a signature link to your blog from this forum.

The site is still too young. Wait for couple of months more.

Your site have only 6 back links, increase your site back link, submit it to directories and blog submission sites.
    Make interlinking strong
    Redirect these type of links

Actually, that's what I also think. In the meantime, I'm focusing on steadily adding new content, I'm horrible at link building though. Should I outsource? Probably.

I checked the exact date of site launch and it's June 11th. I guess I'll wait until Dec. 11th and see if there's any improvement.

I think onpage SEO is your problem. Your site is almost Google repelling

your PR=1 and that's the result for your 3 months working. But it's not enough. You need more posts and seo for each post to make them for specific.

I mean you write and publish post to your site, not to submit to other articles directories.

    Sorry I'm a bit confused...

I actually have 121 posts on the site, and 10 different ones published on ezinearticles. Are you saying that I should start writing articles and publish them at EA and other articles sites instead of publishing them on my site?

What puzzles me is that the site was getting 60 uniques/day from Google SE 1 month after launch, (with around 50 articles at that time). But since then, SE traffic just vanished despite the fact that the site doubled in content.

build more links and be sure to have seo optimized content onsite (meta tags are proper as are titles etc) and target certain terms if you're looking for more search engine traffic.

I have seen something similar with a PR5 site of mine. Once we starting submitting articles for the site, the Google SERPs dropped and conversely, the Yahoo SERPs and traffic increased. To this day I am not sure why.

I think its the sandbox effect.
wait a few months and see if it goes back up in the ranks.
