Since it was a three day weekend for my wife and I we decided to visit our local dollar theater and see a move called 'Hancock' starring Will Smith. It seems like for the past ten years or so, Will Smith stars in one of the biggest movies of the summer - so we did not want to miss out on 'Hancock' even though we did not want to spend $10 to see it at the first run theater. To be frank with everyone, I was very disappointed with this movie. Don't get me wrong, Will Smith did a good job acting as the super hero 'Hancock' - but as my wife and I walked out of the theater we both said we wished we would have picked another movie instead. I would be interested in hearing from other people that saw this same movie to find out if you felt the same way or if you had a different reaction to Will Smith's 2008 summer movie, 'Hancock'.
I'm glad I was not the only person that was disappointed with this movie. I guess I have grown to expect more from Will Smith's judgment when it comes to picking movies. I still remember his performance in 'Independence Day' back in 1995, I think that was the year. He did such a good job in that movie he won me over as a long term fan. However, after seeing Hancock today - I am really hoping he picks a better movie to star in next summer.
