What Is Your Big Idea?

I have been an entreprenuer since I was child. I'm just wired that way. I started off with print ads in Montreal and years later moved into online PPC ads. I waited several years to get into organic search engine optimization. I just assumed that it was beyond my grasp. Now I am one of the most knowledgeable SEO professionals that I know. I have made more money with SEO than PPC. The breaking point was 2 years ago.

In the future I plan to expand my internet marketing agency with a new domain and build a huge list of subscribers/advertizers.

Please share your ideas for the future.

 

My idea's for you or my idea's for myself.

You - Quit bragging

Me - I plan on trying to get away with adsense by running a bigger projects that make money other than from google. I will fund it with extra money from adsense. What will happen is I'll save $2000 try something big, then it'll fail, and I'll close it down, then I'll wait and do the same thing every quarter until I give up on life.

I've already made 2 attempts on huge business's online and they both crashed and burned, and now I'm on my third.

I'm heading in the right direction

 

My big idea is to bring back DISCO!!!! j/k


I doubt you'll find many people giving out this information, too many ass pirates here.

But to answer your question, my 'big idea' is my thesis project for my master's degree that I'm currently working on. I've developed a business model for something new in a very specific niche market, and I'm launching it in a few weeks. It's a multi million dollar industry, and there is pretty much no competition for what I'm doing so it's a perfect time to get this going. And no, I'm not giving the details

You do seem to be a little full of yourself but hey if you got the runs on the board well done.

the main problem is this.. FOCUS.. there are many ways to make money online

BUT..

How much do you want & how fast do you want it to arrive.

To make $100 / day is pretty simple but will not put you into the Sergey Brin stratosphere of wealth..

To make $100 million over 2 years is possible also but you will need to invest alot of time, energy, money in the beginning to see very little return..

My big idea would be around Social applications.. as the web is becoming more social but I think todays products ie FaceBook, StumbleUpon etc are just the beginning, there needs to be a holistic approach to managing yourself online with Web 2.0 apps.

It is vutrually impossible to make 100 mil in 2 years in 2yrs without paying for ads.

For the guy flipping sites, that's a lot of fun, but you'll get tired and sick of it after a while. I use to do that, and I still do maybe 1/year when the occasion arises. But I've found it more profitable to buy a site and make money month-over-month as opposed to just selling it. I would rather take $100-$200/month for 2+ years instead of $1000ish that you could get from selling it.

 

P.S. I don't now how any of you can say that I am full of myself just because I shared some of my background which other can possibly benifit from the experience that I shared.
