Wow sooo much scattered info to take in heh. Wondering what are some popular free or cheap SEO tools? Also do you know of a up to date SEO type "guide" (Video would be nice) and from what I understand DO NOT use the automatic search engine submits services because it will get my site banned? Now for the services that claim to add to like 500 search engines is it ok to uncheck google yahoo msn and leave rest checked and submit, or is it best to let those other engines find me?
well you can try http://www.sitpronews.com for all the latest SEO news (that is understandable for beginnners) The first thing i would recommend you to do is to optimize the pages you would like to get traffic to for long tail, non-competitive keywords, then start building links to thos pages with relevant anchor text. Any way start reading site pro news and it will all start making sense.
You shouldn't submit to a alot of sites at once because it can look unnatural to google and you might get penalized. A good way to start is to post in forums, it will help build your back links and if you have good anchor texts it will help with SERP
hmm sorry to interupt but how can I make like when I type "trader" in google my blog will show up on the list(not ad) even the blog name not "trader"
Your best bet is to analyze top ranking sites for perspective terms. If you want to get blackhat skills, look up pharma links. Replicate what big sites do... A highly competitive one to look up would be various lyrics. You learn most from example. Onpage SEO is, in my opinion, more important than backlinks even. Drop me an AIM sometime if you have any questions - I own over 300 sites in my "little" network . Oh yea, drop your .info domain - it will never work in the search engines. Sorry buddy, don't be cheap on your domains. .INFO's are premarked as spam.
.com is most widely regarded as best in the U.S. .info and .biz are regarded as spam. .org is most suitable for non-profit type sites. .net is ok if the .com version is taken and you just can't find a different .com name to go with. I used to think .net was poison but i've had success with one .net site on scale with .com's and so i'm not against them anymore.
