I have a cool domain name in mind but I want to check if it is any good for a specific kind of website (which I am thinking to build) or not? Is there any way to check it? If I find it not good I will not buy it. Looking for feedback please.
If you're talking about the value of a domain name in money, you can use www.estibot.com for a rough estimation, or get an appraisal. You can find many places willing to appraise domain names for you with a simple Google search: http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...=result&cd=1&q=domain+name+appraisals&spell=1 Hope this helps
My understanding is that glitto does not need an appraisal since he wants to buy a suitable domain for his website. He is thinking of identiying a profitable niche. If he is thinking of selling swimwear, I suggest he get suitable domains for the following popular long tail keywords: sheer transparent swimwear (sheertransparentswimwear.com already taken) plus size swimwear (top domains already taken) g string for men swimwear (gstringformenswimwear.com already taken)
Yes, Ainmohd is right. I didn't want the appraisal. I just wanted to see if the domain I am going to buy will look good for the site I am thinking to build or not. But I figured it out on my own (and after some discussion with friends). I have registered the domain. It is actually a forum. Soon I will announce my forum here It will have lots of room for all kind of people. Just wait for few days. Thank you
glitto: I understood what you wanted because I had thoroughly studied your comment instead of making a general post just to display my signature and get another number (from 1105 to 1106). If you are interested to know more about issues related to domain names, please google "ainuddin mohamad domain names" to read my articles I had written. A number of my articles are on the index pages of websites selling domain names.
wow talk about passive aggressive. people post a few times a day asking about appraisal places and with a title like that it's easy to miss (it's not a very clear post) what he may really want.
Thanks for sticking up for me, Kohashi, I felt like I'd been punched after reading Ainmohd's comment!
cheers. his hypocrisy is a bit sickening. talking about how people just want post counts and then telling the guy to search for his name on google for his articles.
