Different font colors is sometimes not good for the eyes. But you've got a nice design and layout especially the bottom one.

First thing, the first impression is good. I love the design. You can always split the 6 square ad box into 2 and put separately, it looks kinda cluttered together, imagine with visual on it. It will look even messy. I love the cartoon graphic at the botton, really nice, did you draw that yourself?

I agree with letto. It looks cluttered. I dont particularly like the black background-container where the sponsors are ment to be. The rss feed icon needs a lot of work also. But first impressions its a very good design. Nice use of colors and typography .
The RSS icon just looks like an amateur photoshop user threw a bunch of styles onto a circle. I see it's a quite popular image, but to me it looks unprofessional.
Hi, Overall site layout is very good. Remove that black frame and give a drop shadow there. Same thing with "Menu, Recent Posts & Achieve" i guess there's too much of black. The cartoon is great. A thumbs up for your site. All the best and keep going. EDIT : Dont forget the RSS icon.
Of course, look at my avatar, does it not look just like me? My mascot has been stolen by others but I am the owner of it I assure you, I have the full res PSD and the contacts who built it for me to prove it
I guess it looks fairly like you. Maybe it's that the artist has made mascots for many website all in a similar style. I've seen lots similar to that lately.
I like the site a lot. The cartoon is really excellent. To my eye, the ad boxes are overkill when clustered together like this. Overall, nice and fresh looking.
