I just got Adsense a few days ago and I put it up on my website (it has very limited visitors) and I just checked my Adsense today and I've got 101 page impressions (most of them are probably me) and I got 1 click. I got $2.94 for that one click. Is this good or bad? With more clicks, will my earnings go down?
the pay rate depends on what kind of link they clicked. I remember seeying a $8 click once. Two years or so ago when a friend and I were doing adsense.
for one click, yes its good. however, you should always look at your average pay per click. sometimes high paying ads get served on the site which pays way above average
It is always good to have a greater page impressions. At time one can have 50 page impressions and i click, and still make $4.00
not necessarily. you can tripple your page impressions by having 3 ad units per page instead of one. but usually that results in poorer earnings.
You are lucky you got this CPC, Some times I also get above $ 2 for a click in one of my niche and have earned more than $12 for only 5 clicks. It depends on the placement of the ads in the web design layout. Regards Tehmina
nice to hear.... almost $3- thats excellent so are averaging about $0.50- but last few have been 0.08 censt lol the site im trying to sell.. the clicks are getting higher, but i put that down to the new banners that are showing up a lot more appealing
You might get a lot for a click at some point, but if the rest of them are very low.. where is the benefit? I want to hear that people earn $$ for every single click! That would be nice!
