Before you get all excited about the S-400. Look at this -- The new American F-22 Raptor which has no match. http://www.af.mil/factsheets/factsheet.asp?id=199 The Soviet Union was known for tabk quanity. But the T-80 has a lot of quality issues and is no match for the MA2 Abrams tank or the French Leclerc, German Lepoard II or British Army Challenger II MBT.

The F-22 has s6taelth technology. That's how it will get through the S-400. The US fights with combined arms. Mechanized infantry screens the armor. bogart you forgot to mention that the US flew hundreds of mission over Russia weekly with the SR71 during the cold war and Russia did not have the technology to stop it even though they would literally discharge thousands of missiles weekly trying stop the greatest spyplane ever built premodern computer era.

First of all Russia didn't supply Hisbula with Metis M. If Russia starts supplying Hisbula and Hamas with weapons the jews will start leaving Israel. If Hisbula had S-300 or S-400 Israel wouldn't have been able to inflict that much damage in the civilian areas in Lebanon. Even with a kill ratio of 10 to 1 Israelis will still have hard time living in that land since most Hisbula and Hamas fighters are not afraid of dying and the Russians long range artilery and rockets will be hitting all Israeli cities. (If I was the Israely prime minister I would never send a single military instructor in Georgia. As you know it and you don't want to acknowledge Israely and US military instructors were training the Georgian army for the agression agains S. Ossetia.)
