    In India, prostitution is actually more widespread than the US, from what I have read. I read an article that stated that the AIDS virus was spread quickly throughout the country in the 90's because when Indian truckers go on the road, there are many regular stops where they can get cheap sex. Being a patriarchical, male dominated society makes it a bit worse also. In addition, the larger cities like new Delhi are know for their huge red light districts. Furthermore, there is a lot of porn from India on the web. So your arguement is not valid, in my humble opinion.

    not a bit true..... and some doctor either playing with your head or dont know shit......=)) because 1000's of peoples getting married everyday in USA and any other country and living a family life.... and about Sex, SEX is everywhere.... in every country.... but prostitues dont comes FREE.... you pay them to sleep with you.... Sex is Free for me only and i can have it at anytime i want,, anywhere i want...:D because i got a wife.... and since i am from India so now your doctor friend will say sex is Free in india as well...=)) and indeed sex is free in india... as lots of unmarried girls getting preg these day... you need to come out of the closet and take a look around....:D

    To me Americans seem a lot more normal to Asians. That's because life in the USA is similar to that of the UK, in terms of religion etc.

    So what if people have sex? That's why body parts were made the way they were....

    People like to have a good time. Sex is good. barely anyone would wait until they are married to have sex, so there are bound to be accidents along the way and the woman may get pregnant. It really doesn't matter most of the time.

    And yes, in the USA you can visit unlimited prostitutes in a day. You can have a mass orgy with 100 people if you like. It really doesn't matter. It's not a crime.

    And yeah it is a free country. There is no arranged marriages or crap like that.

    It is difficult to make judgments and generalizations on countries. Even if you are living in the US, you will still ask the same question. What I understand is that people in the US are more hard working than anyone else in the world.

    Umm prostitution is a crime in most areas of the US.
    Even 'orgies' such as swinger parties and the such are criminal in some areas and have been prosecuted.

    Arranged marriages are a cultural thing, not a legal thing last I heard.
