Very nicely put, the only problem is finding the time to do all of this but for those of us that have been working hard for years it at least makes us feel like there is a lot to be done.
Nice list. You might check your spelling on your page though. We are providing a relaxed and unique learning environment. We are keeping this community excluive and will only allow 1000 members at maximum. Code (markup): Cheers. Dionys
Of course, they are VERY valuable! But you have to take action and implement them. You can hire somebody to help you for a cheap price at Guru.com... And be sure that all of you to take a look at my thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=2877609&posted=1#post2877609 There I show you how I got +30,000 visitors in 27 days (and a lot of money too - LOL), by Bookmarking your site to the essentials Web 2.0 sites (very few people know that list)... But as always, you have to take action, set a plan and stick with it everyday... . . .
How about some legit ways of getting traffic. Some of these are alright but they are the no brainers that are posted all over the internet. The things like teach a class and take a guru out to lunch are ridiculous.
leaving a lasting impression is a knockout Among the examples is having a Toon Mascot on the site header as part of the branding and identity
May I suggest an addition to the list? Sorry if this makes it 102 instead of 101 ;-) At http://www.unlimitedbusinesscards.com you can advertise your web site on the back of other people's business cards.

I don't know why "91.Use a favicon for your site." useful to get traffics? Can you explain me please?
although not always the case, offline traffic has proven to be a very successful form of direct traffic for my website. we got the site featured on cnn, nbc, and the los angeles business journal. based on my experience, if you are interested in contacting the news as a way of getting traffic, i suggest contacting someone who has written an article about a relevant topic. usually, the editors name can be found on the article you are reading. also, instead of spending thousands of dollars to send out a press release, we found success by using an extensive email list we found at NewspaperEmails.com i came across this site when searching in google for "contacting newspapers" and basically its all the names and email addresses of newspapers broken down by state...far cheaper than using a service like PRNewswire and Businesswire, both of which cost us over $500 EACH! let me know if anyone needs any more PR tips, im here to help
