I am working on budgeting my marketing efforts for my site and I am considering purchasing some links. But I don't know how much I should be spending! I'm currently a PR0 indexed by google but I would like to have a PR4. How much will this cost? And what kind of upkeep costs can I expect from this.
Ology it all depends on your budget and it needs some testing links will give you SERPs and this will bring you traffic so it will take some time for SE to do that spend some and see response and revenue (wait 1-2 months) and continue spending a percentage of your revenue for more links and advertising target long tail keywords because they are easier to rank and you can measure benefits faster long tail: don't target "Medical Billing", target "Medical Billing Service" or rather "professional medical billing services" (not sure if those make sense in your niche though
Hi, I dont think that with paid link you can achieve PR4. I listen that google hate paid links so more paid link can hurt your site as i know till now. If you want to spend then you can hire any professional and pay him for his services like press release, submission work, bookmarking, posting, Link exchange from related sites etc. By this way you can save also some money because these days you can get lots of discount offer here due to competition. Its also a truth that without backlinks you can not get good PR, but try to get quality backlinks with free method, because it will help you lots. According to me you should not try for more paid links. Thanks
Submit your sites to various free directories, social bookmark your sites and use your signature links in forums. In no time you will be hitting pr 3 without spending money.
Yes... you can. Google does not know that you are buying links unless they're from known link-whorers or the site is reported. Seriously though, start off with bum marketing techniques instead. If it's the website in your signature, write a few medical related articles, submit them to various article directories, earn some natural links beforehand. I have to wonder though, why are you aiming for PR, and not traffic? Do a search around here for the importance of Pagerank.. I think you're over-estimating its value.
There is no set amount. It depends on factors like your industry, the keywords and competitors and where you get links from. You get test it by getting a good pagerank link from a highly relevant site and see if that will have any effect on rankings. It may take up to 2 months for you to see the full benefit if any.
try various low budget tasks like, forum posting, blog commenting and directory submissions, and wait for results. If you get what you want then just try to maintain it thereafter .
Take me. Don't pay for links. If you pay for links and the publisher puts your links under "paid links" or sponsors category, you are screwed. Google will ban both sites. If you really need to get to PR4, it should be rather easy. Pay someone and get some link building done from various PR. Also, submit to dmoz. If you buy paid links, play safe. negotiate with publisher and make the link look like unpaid. You get my point? This way, if you get a very high PR link, you can easily get your site to PR 4 in the next update. all the best. Click here to see how I got PR4 in google pagerank update
*sarcasm on* Sweet - So I can throw up a fast site and add a section that says payed links and ad your link to it? Then I will get you banned right!?!? Yes, this must work! I can now destroy all my competitors. *sarcasm off*
I agree with pixeladd because i dont think that you can hide any things online from SEs like google. 1000s of brains working for google and they know all links behaviours. Thanks
You shouldn't pay anything for links if you don't have to. You can get free backlinks by posting on forums, submitting articles to article submission sites, and submitting your link to free directories.
There are a whole lot of ways to get links for free. Try submitting to directories and posting on forums
I use to think PR was the be all and end all. Now I don't even bother. Too time consuming. Use Google's keyword tool and go for some long tail keywords. Submit to article directories for links/traffic etc. Use "..." round your chosen keywords to get the number of competing pages. Anything around 5-10 thousand is fine. Submit article to GoArticles.com and you'll be guaranteed the article will rank - and you'll start getting some click throughs. Keep repeating the process.
Your simple proof that this isn't the case: the link sales section thrives in the BST. If G were catching so many buyers/sellers, then nobody would bother trying to sell their links and risk getting penalized. I am not saying they don't catch some, but it's far from the majority of link traders.
Absolutely true, i did same thing and got PR 3 in two months. just submit to free directories which has same topic as yours. i have health site & i submitted to health. and bingo suddenly i find i have pr 3
