Ezine not accepting articles about high ranked products!?

I'm still new to affiliate marketing but I have a feeling this is sort of a big deal.

I wanted to start a new niche so I wrote 25 test articles for the satellite tv for pc product.

I went on clickbank analytic and saw it was ranked very high.

So I get all of my articles back today with "general error" on them. I send an e-mail to ezines. They get back to me with this:

"I'm sorry, we are unable to accept your recent articles, as we are no
    longer
accepting articles that discuss or link to any website offering
movie, television, music, and game downloads or streaming content with
unknown legal status in regards to copyright.

Let me know if you have any other questions. :) "

I feel very :( at the moment. Does anybody know anything about this at all?

Probably worried about illegal content. I doubt they are shafting you because of the affilaite product.

Well they said they were worried about illegal content which I assume involves the actual product and product website and not my articles. I probably could have written that satellite for tv will bring you the souls of the dead and they still would have published the thing.

This sucks because articles are my main vehicle for promotion.

This isn't the first time I was taken aback with ezines either: a week ago I wanted to emulate some guy who puts a link to other ezine articles in the resource box of his current ones. I tried this and they said they didn't allow it but the other guys articles are still up! go figure

Oh and they actually published a few of my satellite for tv articles too...what a mess

They have so many submissions, sometimes rule breakers get through.

To be honest, its illegal - pure and simple. These guys peddle copyrighted content like its Judgement Day. Shame cause I was hoping to make some bucks from it! Just cause you hide behind a criminal doesnt make you innocent - if you see what I mean :-( Ah well - plenty more fish in that sea.

The satellite for tv thing? They say it's legal. Actually they seem to think it's 100% legal- could that be a clue? like when someone says "I'm telling the truth.HONESTLY!"

What boggles my brainpan is that there shouldn't be a question of legality. Either they are getting sued or they're not. And either the case is solid or it's not. Either way, innocent until proven guilty- If our justice system's internal mechanisms operate by this code then why doesn't ezines? Nobodies going to blame them until there's a definite verdict.

Or I'm just steamed about being called an ezine reject 25 times

Sat tv stuff is probably the exception here, but then again go to the tv co's website find out the stream url and enter it into media player etc - save 40 bucks! I guess this stuff isnt illegal just freely available if you know where to look. Lets face it PSP Blander etc is just the same thing in essence its a torrent website - nothing you cant get for free if you have the knowledge but lost of folks will pay $40 for that knowledge. oops, kinda got off the point there, sat tv stuff is ok i my book but then again i dont work for EA ;-)
