I know that cookies stay for 90 days or longer, but if someone clicked at my hoplink but didn't buy the product, and then he go to an other site an click on the same product/ad, and bought the product. Who made the sale than me or the other guy.

And what if he clicked on my hoplink, but didn't bought it. And then he clicked on the same ad on a different website but also didn't bought.
If he goes than straight to the products webste who made than the sale?

First click or the second click?

The last affiliate makes the sale. So in your case, that would be the other guy.

Same here. The other affiliate will get paid, because the last hoplink he went through, wasn't yours.

This is why you need to work on closing the sale. If you have a promotional lander, build a review site too. Otherwise the user may search for reviews and go through someone elses hoplink on their review page...

yes the second person gets the money hehe

you can test this, when you are going to pay for the item you will see down there something like [affiliate=] if you find the same item from another person and click, it will change from your cb account to the other account.

I had the same question so I did that, unfortunately this is it, it changes and you lose the commission.
