Sorry, but that is absolutely not true at all. Adsense do not ban proxy sites unless the webmaster place google ads on the proxified pages. 10 proxies is enough to make $100 daily, it all depends on how well you promote it and how consistent you maintain the traffic. Having 10,000 proxies does not mean you can make $1000 daily. Factor in the hosting, promoting, domain costs etc you could make even less.
Yes, but don't use aardvarktopsite script. That script is just terrible. It does not show the new proxies on the top just old shit. So its pointless to submit to them. I also think it better to put the topsite on a non-proxy related site. Kind of like Tech-faq does.
Well yesterday I spent nice 4 hours cleaning all the non working proxies and now the list http://mwolk.com/proxy_list has trimmed down from 450+ to 270+ with all working proxies with zero duplicates. Also I am touching almost 500 feed subscribers now.
Your site is good and actually sends traffic and I submit to it regularly. I think its becuase of your unique script your using, your site is definitely caching the eys of users who come back. But most of all I like your site becuase it doesn't have the word proxy in the domain.
I know mate, but I mean that you can't make $1.000.000 with one proxy You must have more proxies That's all I wanted to say in the previous message Greetz
Ah no worries, said that to let the new comers know too that having really TONS of proxies cannot make them gd $ if they dont know how to promote them
Hi, Guys I've registered a proxy 2 days before and have place the ad on my proxy, It's showing me "Public Service Advertisements" Is there any risk placing ads there? (Proxy have some content aswell). Any idea/info please? - Imran
Me not My sites were offline, the past 2 days since changing of host, and now I have to add them over and over again But yeah Mwolk.com is good I want the domain Proxy.com now!
Hey anybody knows Jayant Uppal ? he got banned from DP i was using using his adsense channel , but after i got to $$$ on adsense he disappeared not replying to his yahoo and msn messages i ask this here cause is was having a successful proxy related thread here on DP
I go back to school next week so if any of you want me to promote your proxies to friends then PM me the link.
I'm not so sure. I got an email from adsense this morning warning me of a violation of their TOS for using adsense on a site that contained adult material. I do not run adsense on my proxified pages, however the encrypted url they sent me as an example was a proxified page where someone had accessed a porn site. I emailed them back to explain how a proxy site works and that with hotlinking protection in place the url they sent me could not even be accessed by anyone who clicked on it. Hell I had to disable hotlinking just to see what it was they were seeing. Waiting to hear back from them on this one. I also received an email from adsense a couple weeks ago telling me I was steering clicks on the main index page of one of my proxies, which I wasn't. I emailed back to ask for clarification and got a response that the original notice was sent in error & that my site was fine. I don't know if there are changes in the wind going on or if they have a new crop of overzealous "reviewers", but just thought I'd share.
Not absolutely. School opening are different everywhere. Even in the UK & USA. But most of the schools will be opened by 2nd September. By 15th September, you can totally stop worrying about not starting new sites because of school holidays and work hard.
Ok, for the 1 or 2 that replied to my last post in this thread. I have got most of the site already set up, just need some minor changes. So hopefully launch 1st September (If all goes to plan) But i thought I would run the fees past you guys to see what you thought, and feedback (they should be higher, should be lower etc). These fees are regarding the listing fee, paid for by the seller and the price varies on the starting bid that you wish to set. From $0.01 To $1.00 The fee is $1.50 From $1.00 To $5.00 The fee is $1.40 From $5.00 To $25.00 The fee is $1.30 From $25.00 To $100.00 The fee is $1.20 From $100.00 To $500.00 The fee is $1.10 Image uploads are free, if the item is unsold it is relisted for free an unlimited amount of times. And also there will be no fees for the buyers.
Hmm there is no google ads on your proxified pages? I don't think there is anyway for Google to check what sites your proxy is surfing if their ads is placed only on your homepage. Which proxy script are you using? The only reason I know Google might ban proxy webmasters is when they use the exact same template and same text across all their proxies. Google has something like you cannot place their ads on duplicated sites in their TOS. A few is fine but having their ads across on all 10+ same template and content, they would ban the publisher. I believe their thresh-hold is at $100 daily earnings. Once a publisher gets $100 adsense earnings at any given day, it would trigger an alarm and Google's staff would manually check the account and it's sites before putting that account in their "good books". This is not a fully proven theory, but it is confirmed by more than 4 publishers whom I knew faced this penalty. There are much more people who encountered this as well and they are written all over DP.
How true is that statement? Why are the following guys discussing about the issue? http://proxy.org/forum/1186299878.html http://proxy.org/forum/1183598206.html
Awww, thanks guys Glad to see people are getting traffic from it. From now on, I will take more care of it and add more features into it. If you need something or had some feature in mind, than tell me. I should be able to do it. Will keep you informed guys on the site progress Cheers
Meph - I am running phproxy. I don't know how they came up with the encrypted url from my proxy that was pulling up the porn site, but they did. At first I thought maybe the proxified page was some site running their own adsense links that had violated their terms with adesne, but there were no adsense links on that page and I run adengage on proxified pages. It must have been cached somewhere?
