They are the same company so either one will be good. They allow up to 100 mysql databases.

How can web hosts provide “unlimited” of anything? It can not be done. There is a limit. Unlimited bandwidth doesn't really exist because the bandwidth is limited by that between their servers and the rest of the Internet. Your server will be overloaded by unlimited users.
As a matter of fact, I can recommend you to look at A2hosting.com. I think that this hosting company will satisfy all your needs. Their services are widely represented in the web hosting market.

After my research I also found that ixwebhosting.com has the best offers, plus they do not charge extra for database, like many others do.

site5.com has a plan with 'unlimited bandwidth' and 'unlimited domains.' i believe it is around $5 a month. should be able to get a full year with your budget.

I'd go with a big name, more reliable host. Don't go with any host that hasn't been around for at least 3+ years to date. I prefer asmallorange.com.

these guys are kind of overpriced. i guess it would make sense for local clients, but i'm not sure how they compete with some of the big names online?

    hostgator, site5, mediatemple, etc?

There is no such thing as unlimited hosting, they will suspend you when you use a lot of bandwidth for resource usage.
    Check their terms of agreement.
Hostluck.com can provide excellent hosting features with quality 24x7 support. http://www.hostluck.com
