Are my Adsense totals good or should I make changes?

    Hi guys,

    Been lurking for a little while and have decided to see how my Adsense stats compare with others.

    For the month of August so far they read:

    Page impressions - 41,000
    Clicks - 1,104
    Page CTR - 2.70%
    Total Earnings - $161.44

    Also, I am getting "no data available" at all for Adsense for Search? What's up with that?

    Any feedback would be great. Thanks. :)

    How do I go about increasing my CTR? Should I reduce the number or type of Adsense ads on the page?



    About the strategies I used:

    • Regular content - up to 5 posts a day
    • Relevant and repeat keywords and phrases in posts
    • Digging any unique posts
    • Tipping larger, more established sites on stories and getting them to link back to me
    • Keyword-strong meta title/description

    I really don't know much about SEO and Adsense, but I'm guessing just being commited to the cause helps a lot. :) I've watched the site grow from < 10 unique views a day, to over 1000 in 24 hours yesterday, and my first $10 total for the day.

    Thanks for your tips May be I should concentrate on the first Tip. After reading your tip I think I am lazy.

    Any way thanks for your tips.

    to increase your click through rate

    blend ads with content, change the colour of the ads till you get a better result

    always use text ads, If you need more than three ad units always use youtube ad unit.

    Use less ads as possible if you think that the ads will anoy users.
