I broke my nose last December, I got headbutted (it was an accident) and at first I laughed because I heard an almighty crack and said 'ha ha you broke my nose' and then WHOOOOOOOOOOSH, blood started squirting everywhere and then I freaked out. I went to the hospital, had an X-ray and the doctor had to push it back into place. It was possibly one of the most painful things I've ever been through. it's right up there with having my wisdom tooth pulled out. I had to wear a cast on my nose for a couple of weeks and everyone in the street looked at me like i'd just had a nose job.
I broke my hand. I got mad, and punched my truck. It was my own fault, and it was one of the most painful experiences of my life so far.
I have broken many bones. I have broken several people's Humerus and joints using different type holds.
Yep, several. Growing up, my family had a man-eating truck, "The One Ton." 10 years old, all my brothers piled in the back, in the parking lot, I thought my dad had stopped the truck. I took a step off the back, and he hits the gas. I do a 1 1/2 and hit my head on the trailer hitch ball, and fracture my skull. Two years later, at 12, I was in that same &^%$#%$&&% truck, bored, as it went down the freeway. So, of course, I take a rope and dip it between the bed and the cab, watching it tickle the driveshaft. I next hear a grinding sound, and then the world turned slow, and blurry. I had snapped every bone in my left arm, and nearly tore it off at the root. A brilliant, Jamaican orthopedic surgeon (thank you, again, Dr. Fussell), years of rehab, and thank god I was a serious competitive swimmer, and I still have full use of my left arm. Just a bit earlier, as a very curious kid, I wanted to fly...so I built an "airfoil" out of 2 x 4's and a sheet, stapled onto the "wing." Had to weigh about 50 lbs. or better....I climbed to the roof, strapped it on, and jumped off. I flew, for about 1 1/2 seconds, in a glorious dive-bomb attack on the concrete walkway behind our house. I had learned to fly, but not to land, of course, and so when I "touched" down, the wing kept going, and ripped my right shoulder a/c, broke both ankles, and several bones in my right foot. Many bones busted in martial arts.
Yes, or was it just a fracture... I don't know if it's as bad as a really severe sprain that never goes away. What? don't do that in public
I have been lucky so far.. I ride Dirt bikes Motocross. My buddy's say since I have not broken any bones I am not ridding hard enuf.. lol
