Hey guys, Just made my first two PPC sales on a health product. I got two commissions of $17.98 but I spent $12.06 on PPC. Stupid me, I wasted $3.42 for 9 clicks on [insert health problem here], so I quickly paused that, lol. I was bidding about $0.38 per click. I was also bidding $0.25 per click on [insert health problem here] treatment. That's where the two sales came from. Got 43 clicks, 1.09% CTR, average position: 4.5, and that cost me $8.64 Summary: Total spent on PPC: $12.06 Total in Clickbank commissions (2): $35.96 My ad: Cure ___________________ Cure Your ______________ Naturally In 48 Hours www.Domain.com I just bought the domain product-name.com, and redirected it to my hoplink, lol. The product I'm promoting only has a gravity of 12.4. If anyone has any tips or advice, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm hoping to eventually figure out how I can spend less, and make more, just like everyone else.
aren't we all! nice work on the sales. when i started i was spending about 3x more on adwords than i was earning with clickbank haha. so dangerous. i think its not a very good place to start out.
A lot of weightloss publishers provide pre-established landing pages, insted of redirecting try to find one of these and edit it with your hoplink, That way people bookmark YOUR page, and refer people to YOUR page.
the easiest way to spend more and pay less is to find a product in the same niche that pays you more or expand your keywords to look for more targeted ones. Also try to track your ppc campaigns on a keyword basis, you can use different tid's for each of them.
Put your keywords on your landing page to lower CPC. Also try putting them in meta tags. (<meta name=keywords content=your keyword, keyword2>)
Good advice. It'll help with your quality score. PPC is a bitch. I haven't had much look with it. When I was earning $60 per tracer sale I was spending 1/3 - 2/3 of that in PPC. Same with Brotherhood too.
Nice work my friend, did you do a lot of research before hand? One thing, is Google cool with you advertising a url which redirects to a hoplink?
LOOOOL, no offense, but I knew that your forex campaign won't last for long It's a wonder for me, how PPC marketers profit
I knew it too. I needed to test for decent keywords though, that's why I do it. Seems those that are making $1000+ per day from selling the brotherhood are able to do it because of their huge email lists.
Using a straight to landing page hoplink is a terrible idea and I advise against it. Google's gonna slap you sooner than you think.
Yes I have, go to the google adwords section and be active there, ask everything you don't know about PPC.There is really valuable information everyday. For spending less and making more you actually need only 3 things: -Great QS -Better CTR -Your sales letter improved to convert better This things are not easy to learn and improve but the Google adwords PPC section is a good place to start. Hope i will see you there.
