If you make less than $1.00 / day...What are you doing wrong?

I got to thinking about how many people here report not being able to make a dollar a day with Adsense, and I just can't see how that is possible. If you have a blog, website, or even a single page that gets 5-8 clicks per day, you should be able to make a buck a day. Maybe if you post what you're having problems with, some of the Adsense veterans here can help figure out how to fix them. I'll bet that with a minor change in how you do things, you can get over $1.00 a day without much difficulty. What do you think?

 

1$ a day is not a problem my friend, eventually you will get it... the problem is to make over 3$ a day so that you will get a check every month!

 

If you can't make a dollar a day without someone in a forum looking at your site and telling you what to do to make it better I would give up!

 

Sorry...I should have stated that I make well over $1.00 a day. I'm not asking for help for myself, I would like to see if those who are successful with Adsense can determine what those people might be doing wrong, so they can make a little more money. I see so many people on here saying "I'm only making 65 cents a day", and so on...there must be a reason these people aren't earning.

What do you all think is the main reason that people don't make any money with Adsense? Because they can't get decent search engine positions? Decent traffic, but bad Adsense placement? Just lousy website ideas? Etc, Etc.

 

To be honest.. I think it's because everyone wants everything for free.. and they spend more time investing in getting things for free, and making shortcuts.

It is a mindset.. an impoverished mindset.. that keeps them from doing what will bring a healthy or wealthy income. Their thoughts focus around how little they have, and they continue that way of thinking online, and so they perpetuate the same results.

Anyone making less than $3/day and has been running adsense for 6 months and above is lazy...

 

Good and unique content, targeted traffic and better ad placement will definitely help you make more than one dollar a day but if you are a person who solely depends on adsense earning for a living, then you should try to make at least 5-10 dollars depending on your country just to make both ends meet.

 

A $10/day would be fine if you are in 3rd world country.. I consider it lucrative if I have $50/day and above...

 

Yep, we should aiming higher than $1/day...However, you'll need a lot of works to do, if you want to earn more with the adsense...

It's normal for forums to have low CTR... if this stat is from your sig.. If you are running VB, try to follow this placement.

I got a blog too, with 20 pages, but 1 or 2 visitors in 2 3 days. any idea how to improve that

 

I m in adsense since oct 2006 and hardly make upto 0.5-0.75$ per dayt only

 

Review what you are doing everyday and be consistent.. If you do nothing and think your frustrations, nothing will happen... Try to focus more on promotion and do not be discouraged by negative results during the first part of your campaign...

Try this for one month..... Your daily schedule.

 

5-8 clicks per day for anime/manga niche won't make a dollar per day.

 

That's a blanket statement that doesn't take into account people's lives outside of adsense, the type of site they're running, and their past experience.

I'm in fact offended that you would make such a statement.

Many MANY people work very hard on their site and don't make $3/day, I being one of them. I've got a massive project of a site that I've been working on since march and it isn't finished.

I work 40 hours a week as a software engineer and have a wife that's pregnant. I program on my site when I get the chance which is usually only on the weekends. Does that make me lazy in the fact that I choose to support my family and not neglect her to make $3/day?
