What does everyone think of Mamma Mia?

I seen Mamma Mia about a week ago, after promising myself i wouldnt go as i dont normally do musicals, however i was pleasantly surprised - it was really good and very funny in places!

I was just wondering what everyone else thought of it - guys and girls!!

havn't seen it, and I really don't want to. I'll probably be made to see it sometime though .

Not a bad film storywise, but TOTALLY ruined by the fact that the singing is DIABOLICAL! When Meryl Streep sang 'The Winner Takes It All' I had to put my hands over my ears.

 

I thought it was good and was a bit amazed that Pierce Brosnan can sing.

 

Pierce Brosnan can sing? You must be tone deaf!

Anyways back on topic, the movie was entertaining.

 

i didnt like it although i do like the abba songs

 

not seen it as of yet but i will eventually.

 

It's actually one of my favorite movies for the year.

 

I'll wait until it comes out on DVD, ABBA rule though!

 

I heard that it was awful. In my opinion, shows should never be made into movies anyway.

I like this movies. And went to watch it three times with my friends and sister.
The songs are great, even they are little old to me. But better than today' songs a lot.

I will get the DVD when it out.

 

Fiance loved it so no doubt will have to see it when we get it on DVD but so far have avoided watching it myself. Doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.

 

I've watched the movie and I think Merryl Streep did a good job. Then again, I've always been an ABBA fan so I was probably taken in by the songs. Plus, it's fun to watch Collin Firth do a musical.

 

Cant say anything about this movie because I have not seen this movie.
