Image Ads vs Text Ads !

Hiya ,

Yesturday i was Reading an article About ''Google Adsense secret'' and I read that Text Ads are much better than Image Ads , so Directly i have changed my Google Adsense setup , 790*30 Text Ads

Please can you share me with your experience ? Image or text is better ?

So far my image ads have a very low ctr. My text ads are pretty low compared to most of you but still much higher than the image ads. I would agree with what you've read.

 

My suggestion is use text ads is good and paying well

Google makes most of their money with text ads so that is no brainer for you to choose

but some niches like movies that play trailers will be good to use both

 

text ads are better than Image Ads

They are both good.

I see more clicks on image ads, but I see a little more earning from text ads. It all evens out for me.

 

From my experience, I would say text ads are better than image ads and place them in a better position to increase the ctr.

 

I think that image ads work well with entertainment type niches. My sites are primarily geared towards entertainment and my image ads get more clicks than my text ads. So, I guess it depends on your niche and of course your ad placement.

 

Hopefully I just added adsense to my wallpaper categories. And they were image ads as that made more sense.

I will see how it runs for on week. And will switch to text ads the next to get a comparison

well, google made its name precisely because of the image ads back then. Theres plenty more reason why you should go with text ads. Have a read here

however, if youre really know your niche like the poster above say, you may find image ads better
