I’m running Rawgrip.com and I wanted to make it more Search engine friendly by doing some SEO.

I’m not sure if I should do it myself, I have some knowledge in design and some html/css knowledge or should I get someone to evaluate my site and what SEO needs doing.

Just a quick look at Rawgrip.com by anyone familiar with SOE methods and how Search engine friendly it is and how much work needs doing? (nothing to greatly specific, people need to get paid too)

    All or any comments welcome.
P.S I enjoy the niche im in and looking at a future in it.

    Backlinks is the main problem.

Your on-page SEO is not bad, but backlinks are not sufficient.

I think my on-page SEO could be improved with a cleaner code? W3schools valid would make things easier for search engines?

By back links do you meen links back to my site from other high ranked related pages?

    Things ive done so far:
    I have a site map.
I've got indexed in major search engines and a handful of directories.
Just concentrated on writing useful unique content.
    Social networking stumble,myspace facebook.
I write and comment on a related blog and answer questions.
Getting more people to write for me.

    Hoping to do:
    More unique articles
Concentrate on SEO most popular article pages i.e highest rank
Getting a more clean code for my site
    Producing more videos on youtube
Guest posting and writing in blogs

My skills are decent to maintain a site but if the foundations are doodoo,... well the rest writes it self.

How much would fixing the bad code for a good code cost?

Also look for quality links. Buying them or spamming could end up backstabbing you so you should stay away from that.
