-2008 US taxpayers will pay a cumulative total of 800 billion $ for the "war efforts"
(and some US military corps will get very very fat eh? hint hint)

-Cost of deploying one U.S. soldier for one year in Iraq - $390,000
(HMMMMM for 400K/year i could stay in a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world...i smell ripoff)

-Lost & Unaccounted for in Iraq - $9 billion of US taxpayers' money and $549.7 milion in spare parts shipped in 2004 to US contractors. Also, per ABC News, 190,000 guns, including 110,000 AK-47 rifles.

(some people are getting very very fat here LOL how do you lose 190.000 guns and 110.000 AK-s? i smell black market$$$)

-Mismanaged & Wasted in Iraq - $10 billion, per Feb 2007 Congressional hearings
(can you feel how fat some people are getting? obesity seems to be a huge problem LOL)

-Halliburton Overcharges Classified by the Pentagon as Unreasonable and Unsupported - $1.4 billion
Amount paid to KBR, a former Halliburton division, to supply U.S. military in Iraq with food, fuel, housing and other items - $20 billion
Portion of the $20 billion paid to KBR that Pentagon auditors deem "questionable or supportable" - $3.2 billion

    (hallibutron need i say more?)

    -US Troops Killed -4,142
US Troops Wounded - 30,509, 20% of which are serious brain or spinal injuries (total excludes psychological injuries)

    (for what? over what WMD?)

-US Troops with Serious Mental Health Problems - 30% of US troops develop serious mental health problems within 3 to 4 months of returning home

(LOL i dont mean to be insensitive here but if 30% of them are nuts and a good percentage were nuts to begin with it makes you wonder if the sane people are outnumbered in the military)

-US Military Helicopters Downed in Iraq - 68 total, at least 36 by enemy fire

(so the other 32 were gunned downed by friendly fire?? wtf?)

-Iraqi Civilians Killed, Estimated - A UN issued report dated Sept 20, 2006 stating that Iraqi civilian casualties have been significantly under-reported. Casualties are reported at 50,000 to over 100,000, but may be much higher. Some informed estimates place Iraqi civilian casualities at over 600,000.

    (600K civilians!!!!)

-Iraqi Insurgents Killed, Roughly Estimated - 55,000

(and im sure ALL 55.000 were terrorists  ...)

    -Daily Insurgent Attacks, Feb 2004 - 14
    Daily Insurgent Attacks, July 2005 - 70
    Daily Insurgent Attacks, May 2007 - 163
    Estimated Insurgency Strength, Nov 2003 - 15,000
    Estimated Insurgency Strength, Oct 2006 - 20,000 - 30,000
    Estimated Insurgency Strength, June 2007 - 70,000

(all that money and "effort" seem to be producing results LOL)

-Iraqis Displaced Inside Iraq, by Iraq War, as of May 2007 - 2,255,000
Iraqi Refugees in Syria & Jordan - 2.1 million to 2.25 million
Iraqi Unemployment Rate - 27 to 60%, where curfew not in effect

(you wont hear the US politicians mention this too much LOL..."borderline" ethnic cleansing eh?)

-Iraqi Children Suffering from Chronic Malnutrition - 28%

(compare that to the cost of 1 us soldier/year 390.000$)

-Percent of professionals who have left Iraq since 2003 - 40%
    Iraqi Physicians Before 2003 Invasion - 34,000
Iraqi Physicians Who Have Left Iraq Since 2005 Invasion - 12,000

(but what about all the peace and democracy? LOL)

-Average Daily Hours Iraqi Homes Have Electricity - 1 to 2 hours, per Ryan Crocker, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq

(how funny is it that a country bursting with energy has none? i smell oil theft LOL)

-Iraqis without access to adequate water supplies - 70% (Per CNN.com, July 30, 2007)

(but at least they have "democracy" LOL)

-RESULTS OF POLL Taken by the British Ministry of Defense (Source: Brookings Institute)
Iraqis "strongly opposed to presence of coalition troops - 82%
Iraqis who believe Coalition forces are responsible for any improvement in security - less than 1%
Iraqis who feel less ecure because of the occupation - 67%
Iraqis who do not have confidence in multi-national forces - 72%

(at least the US army had a job LOL...good work may i point out LOL...all that money wasted LOL and they dont even have fresh water LOL...i smell a ripoff...war is business no doubt about it and the USgov and their buddies are getting very very fat)

Hey that included my salary as well. Money well spent if you ask me. Those stats will make a terrorist think twice.

BTW Halliburton is money well spent.

I like how you put your own comment afterwards.... particularly on ones like this...

<sarcasm>You are right, every aircraft that has ever went down in the world has always been caused by some sort of combat... </sarcasm> lol, you would have been better served by not putting your own opinions on the statistics.

I see nothing funny. The ones who laugh about it have mental health problems themselves....

It takes a special type of person to find humor in the suffering of other men. I think it speaks more about his mental state than those he comments about.

my heart bleeds for every hired gun who went on a killing spree on the other side of the wrold and went crazy 3-4 months later at home...no it really bleeds...a lot...bleed bleed bleed all day long...

my point was the sanity of the US guns for hire crew being that many serve in multiple locations and a fair percent are crazy to begin with...

ok its a legit point...out of 68 downed helis 32 fall out of the sky without enemy fire so this is either:

    1) they are crap helicopters
    2) crap pilots/crew
    3) trigger happy US guys shooting at everything that moves even their own

    you pick ill agree...

It may be easy to cheat yourself so far away from Iraq :)
200.000 weapons have been lost , 200000 weapons to a destabilized country from Usa.

LOL...what would you call it if not a killing spree? a democracy spree?:D pretty flower liberation? innocent peace proliferation? i have no talent for your euphemisms you have to be american and in huge denial to master the ancient art of linguistic alchemy that turns a turd in to perfume...

Still, with statements like this you lose all credability... assuming you had any. We have the best soldiers in the world and saying anything otherwise will just make me and most others here ignore you.
