    Hey,

I'am new to Clickbank and SEM/CPC-Marketing and I hope you can help me. After keyword research and choosing a fine Clickbank Product I send 259 Hops to the merchants sales page... but not just one sale!!! :( Maybe you could help me to spot what I do wrong?

I bid in Google AdWords on typical keyphrases like "tattoo designs" or "butterfly tattoo designs" - the affiliate program is chopper-tattoos.com - please help me! What are I'am doing wrong?!

    Sincerly, satzzeichen

Your selling a shitty product or the quality of the traffic is low. Either that or you could be possible trying to sell them twice. You need to presell the visitor, otherwise they will feel overwhelmed.

I have never tried to sell that product and it doesn't seem that many others have had success with it.

The best advice is maybe to move on to another product and try and make some sales to recover that investment.

Also, it is much better if you have your own website to send traffic to... as you can then get some organic traffic from search engines, you can do article marketing, you can build a list and you can monitor what methods are generating sales.

A recent product launched by a DP member is for fixing Xbox problems - it seems to be converting for some... so maybe trying it if you built up a mini site or a landing page and sent traffic.

That is the thread and there are affiliate resources available to help you get started quicker.

get a new product and try a whole new campaign

heres a tip - remember you are testing a market to see if its profitable. If your not making sales, move on and try something new.

1 - Do better keyword research. Use long tail keywords, not expensive broad keywords like you are using.
2 - Make a landing page. Even if its just a "click here to see tattoo designs" type page, it'll help with quality score etc.
3 - Come back and post again here if you fail. We'll give you more advice.

Okay first at all: THANK YOU all =) digitalpoint is a GREAT forum where you get great help and information. Okay so I will test another product - can you advice me some easy to sell CB products? I thought it won't be a good Idea to advertise a product what tons of other affiliates sell (because of competition). So I would be happy if you can give me some product ideas where I can start with - it shouldn't be a "big business" it would just be great to spend 10 Dollars and earn back 11 Dollars =D. Just for learning... so I can test optimizing AdWords/landing pages and so on without making heavy loss of money. :D

    PS:

@Skribblez do you know Proactol und/or Aloeride from MoreNiche? Would that be good stuff to start? thx

Why not try the one I suggested?

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=998544

It was created by an active DP forum member and therefore once you get the campaign up and running he can maybe help you improve it and make better returns.

Kinitex has also said more affiliate materials will be available when he gets them done...

the product itself is new and therefore not too many people promoting it at the minute... so look at trying a new product out that has proven to convert (through the PPC Kinitex is doing himself).

Probably best having your own domain/hosting and then you can have the option of doing a site specifically for that product or a site that reviews similar products (maybe even all different types of gaming products that you would put into differen categories).

My advice would be to try and keep the focus of the site narrow enough to bring in laser targeted visitors and therefore improve chances of making sales.

I know of MoreNiche, never tried promoting their products though.

What I meant was, try promoting health related eBooks. :D They have converted the best for me. They're also pretty easy to promote most of the time. Just try to rank for these types of search phrases:

    ____________ treatment
how to get rid of ___________
    ____________ cure
    cure ____________
    _____________ natural treatment
    stop _____________
    ______________ remedies

    And so on..

If you can rank for any of those phrases, it should be pretty easy to get sales. Just remember to give basic information, and at the end of your article, have something like:

"For a more detailed guide on how to get rid of ____________ naturally, you can check out [insert cloaked affiliate link here]"

    Something like that, lol. :)

I don't know man. If you're just starting out, promoting something like fatloss4idiots probably won't be a good idea, especially with PPC (you could end up losing alot, and not even making a sale). Might want to consider other products with lower gravity.

    Skribblez,

When you say gravity in that context, do you mean an area that is not overpopulated?

    Cheers.

I'am sure he does. "gravity" is an indicator displayed in CB marketplace how many affiliates promote this product.
