America deserves a maniac like John McCain to be president. Let him start the cold war all over again.

    its standard practice...

in my country they broke in to a church and shot a priest and his son (also a priest in priests cloth)...they were looking for "war criminals" and the official excuse was that they expected return fire?!? in a church?

they will never admit it but their strategy is if theres 1% chance of the brave brave US gun for hire being hurt then spray bullets all over the place no matter if you are surrounded by innocent people..

when surrounded by the US military your life is worth almost nothing and any excuse is good enough for them to open fire...imagine how insane you would have to be to shoot at 2 priests in a church...

I have seen Iraqi and a few other Middle eastern countries text books from grammar schools and I was shocked at the basic counting books. In the US we count apples, fruit and cupcakes. In Iraq, Iran and a few others the kids were taught to count by pictures and drawings just like children in the US but the drawings and images were of grenades, guns and an array of killing devices. I was surprised at first but after thinking about the different lifestyles, I shouldn't have been surprised.

This is terrible propaganda. We know there are some terrible things that happen over there. However, lets not make the assumption that only Americans are killing innocent people. We hear on a daily basis about suicide bombers, often times around schools.

    I praise your comment :)

A few soldiers are not all Americans & they have been to war -> You can somehow understand their behavior; Seeing blood and dead bodies daily would have some effect on all of us.

Yet I do not protect them, bad boys...

    It's war...

It's hard to determine the good from the bad that will take your life before you know it. Yes even a war criminal could be dressed as a priest. As a matter of fact, if I was a war criminal and I didn't want to be spotted, dressing up as a priest would be the ideal thing to do!

Soldiers are taught to kill. And while they're being taught to kill, they're being taught how to stay alive. But if you think all these "awful American soldiers" kill innocent people on purpose just for the hell of it, you're wrong. I will admit that there's some crazy people in EVERY army. So don't shake your naughty finger at all the American soldiers. I know many of them.

If your country was the ones that invaded Iraq (hypothetically speaking) you'd be hearing bad shit about your soldiers too. It's funny watching people talk about a situation they're not in.

opening fire on civilians with no warning is a war crime...the US military does not answer to any international war crimes tribunal so this is impossible to prove as a flat out execution and war crime...the 2 shot priests looked nothing like war criminals they were well known in their little village and it was incredibly easy to identify them as regular christian orthodox priests who never took a gun in their hands their whole life...oh and how about busting in the church and not opening fire? isnt that a novel idea? ask first shoot later (if need be)...no matter how obvious the execution is there will always be somebody to defend it...

seriously speaking if i was a judge in some war crimes tribunal i would not even be interested in hearing the reasons soldiers bust in to a church and shot 2 unarmed priests...its like having an excuse to bust in to a school and open fire=there simply is no excuse...

Like I said, it's a situation you are not in yourself. You can't really judge from where you're sitting at your computer.

And I admit that things happen that shouldn't have happened. There's mistakes and people get in the heat of the moment. I also don't think soldiers busted in the church without ANY reason at all to kill a priest. Come on!

people are looking at us Americans the way that the Japanese soldiers were taught to look at us back when America and Japan were at war. Evil American devils. But the truth is they didn't know us on a personal level. And when they got to know some (prisoners of war), they seen the letters from American families from home and realized we're normal humans just doing their duty just like them

The middle east, if left alone from the beginning would have eventually grown in a democracy, but we along with russia and afew other countries had our hands in their cookie jars since god knows when.
How do we regain their trust so they dont turn to terrorists or brutal dictators again since our government supported most of these dictators since at least after ww2.
Just imagine iran with mossadegh serving out his full term?
Now we got children worshipping suicide bombers.
what a shame that the elite didnt think of the future of the children over there. I hate terrorism in all of its form. The pain and suffering it causes cant be imagined by us here because we are insulated from it.

I am glad we agree that there is no video of the crime that was committed.

There are many Urban Legends that are talked about on a daily basics.
