check it by the way my new proxy listing website is getting some good hits everyday about 1400 a day thats not a great traffic but OK for a new one www.ProxyToday.info just for a link back i can put your proxies on the top of the list for free actually this would bring min 200 hits the day cause its not a rotating link box To submit your proxies , use this link : http://proxytoday.info/?page_id=5 if you need some big traffic on your proxies like 3200 hits a day use this link or this (paid adverting,do not get afraid comparing with similar services its too cheap )
Ah..I told you that my site got an increase in visitors. SQL went down. It will came up shortly. Maybe I should move to a new server.
Just trying to gauge reception of an idea, without trying to get flamed and this seems like the ideal place to do so. But i'm thinking of starting an auction site just for proxys, as in all fairness i've noticed a gap in the market. There only seems to be the same group of maybe 10 - 15 people who bid on the proxys that are listed here on digitalpoint, and sometimes the auctions fail to reach their full potential. And very rarely are proxies sold on sitepoint as most auctions there are for well established, with higher revenues. So my aim is to create an auction site for proxys, with cheap fees, probably for the seller to pay. Just shoot me some feedback by pm if you could please.
I almost bought this site and planning to convert it into proxy marketplace, until the owner/creator of that site told me that it has $1500 as its reserve price. Good luck to your new venture.
A few high traffic topsites can bring you a good amount of traffic. Also topsites with static outgoing links are good. A good thing is to check the topsites alexa traffic or linkpop to proof them.
after 77 minutes from your post on this thread you got the right answer yes topsites are not so good right now if you need some free traffic you may try proxytoday.info (free but link back is required ) by the way seems its a few hours that something is wrong with yahoogroups emailing system i have sent 1 email to my 18000 users there , but the email is not delivered to the users (at least i have not received it yet) do you have the same prob or is it just for me ? anyways i should wait and see ,may try an open source emailing script but prefer to wait for yahoo thingy
Hey Jacob, you are not the only one. I faced that sometimes too. Yahoo face some buggy lagness at times.
Can I link to my non-proxy site from the proxified pages of my proxy site? Is there any chance that my other site will be blocked?
Gotta start some proxies up I see. I think I will try to get 4 rolling in the next month as a start. I plan to make 30 this year and sell most by the end. Also why would we visit a proxy marketplace where we had to pay when on dp is for free?
