More than one account at the same address

Hi,

According to what i've read in the forums so far, it is not allowed to have more than one adwords account unless you have a multi client center but I was wondering if it is possible to create another account if another member of the address that you are using to register said account is allowed

e.g. If i want my own adwords account yet my brother has one already and we live together is that still against adwords policy

I think you better register on other PC so that IP during registration wouldn't be the same.

but I just wanted confirmation if the rules for an account is one per address

 

They are tracing your computer so you should take care what you do. I suggest not to register or login to more then one account from the same computer/IP.

my brothers account hasn't been in use for a long time, so i'll be ok

 

but if they check and found that your address has 2 accounts that might be a trouble. (eventhough another acct hasnt been used for a long time) if you already did regist for another one, I would suggest you to contact the google staff, tell them the situation and let see what will they say. it would be nice if you post here what they said as well.

You can change your home address to your office address so your brother and you have different addresses.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions, I asked a member of google staff about my situation and they said as long as the login Id and the credit card details are different, then all is ok.

 

means we can create different accounts on same computer if we have two more credit cards?

Its a false rumor, You can have as many account as you want. I have two myself. I asked for more keyword limit, they suggested me to create another account.
I use exact same thing in all my accounts except the login.

 

It's clear now that google is not sensitive about address.

 

You can open as many accounts as you want under the same IP address. Account managers and SEM firms do it all the time.

 

Could a person with success in adwords-adsense open another account associated with different but mirror adgroups/domains? Could you use a spouses contact info even though IP/street address would be the same? It seems that my successful adwords program can't be duplicated within the same account as they just split the traffic between the two similar campaigns. My theory is that I'm not allowed two ad results for one search. I'd like to run similar, but slightly different ad copy with the same keywords. Landing page could be a mirror, or modified to be similar. I don't want to take any risks with what I have working now. I need the income.

 

yes you can mirror campaigns from one account to another from the same IP... Google does not monitor this activity

use separate IDs if you not using an MCC, but if your using an MCC then it doesn't matter
