You can find good people and bad people everywhere including this forum. So deal with persons whom you trust. Check posts,iTrader and Reputation before deal (past records). There are also so many members good with low posts,iTrader and REP so ultimately you have to decide your own.

    DON.

All you need to do is learn how to spot a scammer, even the best still leave traces behind that show them for who they are. If you are really vigilant, do background checks etc. there is only a low liklihood that you'll ever be caught out.

We do know that who would work if they could get free money, therefore the best you can do is only by taking precaution, you will never know that someone with a 100+ itrader would scam you

It is not just on DP.
You have to be carefull anywhere these days. If it looks like a scam it probably is.

Just make sure of the one you are having trade with, you can sense it by chatting with him and ask many questions about his services.

Just don't trust the new kids for anything more than $10. Check the threads in their itrader. Someone could have easily spent $500 on 100 different articles, it doesn't make their 100 itraders trustable.

I don't think that judging a person's trustworthiness by his iTrader is very fair. For example, I just sold some links on a sponsored theme a few days ago to two members even though I had no iTrader and fairly low activity on the forums. That didn't seem to bother them at all :)

Anyways, it is pretty important to take precautions whenever selling or buying anything, but don't get to the point of being paranoid :)

Buyers usually pays after they're satisfied with the job. Nobody pays in advance. I did a couple of jobs on freebies and i was paid only after i did the job. Its same with contests too. Buyer pays after he receives the designs. Chances are less. So, i guess you can be safe for a buyer. Chances are less.

iTraders pays a big role and thats where some members finds it difficult to sell something. Without an iTrader your chances are very less.

The best you can do is trust your instincts on members because you never know could be someone you trust and then they stab you in the back, like I say trust your instincts.

I have to disagree with that statement, I don't have no where near that many posts and it don't mean that I am not trustworthy. Are you guys forgetting that you to had no iTrader or high post count when you started out? What if no one had given you a chance to even get iTrader's because of it?

And, if you're going to base trust on post numbers, you're going to get in trouble. It's easy to go to the general sections and post what your favorite color is, what kind of pet you own and all that other useless chit chat. That don't mean that a person is trustworthy!

I see a lot of buyers complaining, but buyers aren't actually the one's taking the risks, the writers are! If you don't like the job done then you just don't pay. But, whoever did the job is out their time and effort.

I think a lot of the problem here now, especially with content is that most buyers want a great article for almost nothing. I've seen so many op's wanting a 500 word, well researched, unique article with correct grammar, spelling and the whole works for $2 or $3.

So far, I have had nothing but great experiences with DP. And, I've not been able to find any other forum that can even hold a candle to this one. I've only dealt with wonderful members, that have all been a pleasure to work for. But, I do know people that have did work that they've never gotten paid for. Of course, I don't know the full circumstances of what happened.

Maybe one good way to get a little more assurance of a seller's credentials is to not only check their iTrader's, but pm some of the members that left them. Pick out the buyer's with the highest iTrader's and message them to get more information about how satisfied they were with the deal!

How to trust a person online to they offer live support.
    Can you contact them.
Do they have a number to call.
Do they have a real address and why will you send money to a person before the project is not done yet?
Pay 50 % start and 50 % finish set up agreement and email it to each other. Or print a emails ens.

    Just to help you...

only those with 10+ itraders and about 200-300 posts can be trusted ( This say nothing.)
