Now I'd like to compare apples with oranges from your opinion and most importantly, from the best of your experience. I was born in the world of internet earning ..working from home 1 year ago. I am a professional medical practitioner and earning from adsense and other ad networks and blogging was a very rewarding profession I stepped into as I learned how to be an entrepreneur from being an employee- making other people rich. I was able to leverage blogging by creating blogs and paying writers outsourced from all parts of the world. It has been a big hit for me and I had all my time today after working hard from blogging for an entire year because the time I started was the peak emergence of blogging as I see it. I am looking into the world of affiliate marketing with PPC and clickbank and other affiliates but my fear is..since I was not able to see the peak of affiliate marketing plus PPC...I afraid I don't visualize the path. Now I know that affiliate marketing VS blogging is like comparing apples and oranges so much like comparing a google with citibank. I would like to know your views on the two - affiliate marketing VS Blogging. Which is more efficienct and effective - as both can make you rich. Also...I would like to source this link as a reference for your answers. I would like to thank you for reading this semi long post and every opinion is appreciated. Thanks
i think affiliate marketing is more difficult, but if you do it right you can earn more... I've just never gotten it to work right for me..
I agree with you. In some situations you can earn much more than using Adsense, the problem is that it seems to be very difficult to do it.
I've had better success with adsense ads than with affiliate marketing, although I have to admit I haven't dived in 100% in efforts with affiliate marketing either. But at a casual level, I haven't seen anything.
I've never used adsense, but with affiliate marketing I started making money instantly.. its pretty easy with the right idea, and product.
I use both, affiliate marketing and adsense They both need traffic and both require good content i think it is important to diversify your income streams so I use the above and some other things as well
Well isn't it possible to integrate both into one website and earn from both. They wouldn't decrease what you earn of each other as they are seperate methods. Is that correct?
Yeah - that's correct.. I do that, but my Affiliate earnings are a fraction of my Adsense earnings.. My visitors just arent interested in buying stuff..
For starters, affiliate marketing is very difficult and needs time and even money to kickstart... but the reward it fruitful in the long run... adsense rely mainly on traffic and if you are really good in promotion, there is no earning limit... generally, I would go with adsense..
I make more per month with the ebay affiliate program as I do with adsense. I struggle to make a couple of bucks a day with adsense.
No need for hard research. It's obvious that Affiliate marketing brings in more than adsense. But In affiliate marketing you need to spend money to get money but the return is a great one if it's done in a correct way. Adsense needs no investment if you are willing to do some work or you will have to spend money as you do in affiliate marketing. As a conclution if you decide to buy traffic for adsense site better you buy traffic for an affiliate site.
If you are a starter, go for adsense but experienced marketers definitely prefer affiliate marketing as a great source of income.
I started in my first month with adsense creating 3-4 blogs and my highest income was $7 in one day. Then I started working with some affiliate networks and now I am earning a lot more money with affiliate marketing. This month I've got $320 from affiliate marketing and about $15 from my adsense blogs which I don't develop anymore. I started just several months ago with the online business, never had a website or blog before. For sure you need to spend a lot more time to learn about affiliate marketing, but it's worth.
thank you so much to your responses. BTW what affiliate would i try. I tried clickbank and PPC but I am not having conversions. Any tips?
I don't want to get involved with publishers problems, it always been the hard part from Affiliate, so I still go with adsense
Adsense is easier to start up, but affiliate marketing has more earning potential. That's been my experience.
commission junction, linkshare. many companies run their own affiliate programs too. if you're at a site that sells items that you think you could sell too, go to the bottom of the page and search for their 'affiliates' link or just do a search on the page for the word 'affiliate'. sometimes these programs are better than some of the programs you'll find in cj or linkshare.
