Why did my keywords get dropped?

All of a sudden i got dropped from google for alot of my keywords. Domain is over a year old. No black hat on the site. I am not banned from google and Google just updated me to PR1 this month. Any Ideal?

If you think you might have a penalty you should do some research on the -950 penalty and -30 penalties. You can see if your site has any of those symptoms.

My site faced same problems before some days. Try to add some fresh content or post and do some social networking for them. You will again get good rankings.

Same thing happened with me after PR updation. I lost my ranking for many keywords and not able to regain them till now. But i am continuing with my work and hope that they wud regain their position as soon as possible. Same words i cud say for you just continue with ur work and hope for best..........................

SEO is an ongoing process and need maintenance. You got dropped from google for alot of keywords because you didn't do any maintenance.

 

it is a matter of time and luck! Just continue link building to your site and wait until it progress and bump up on its high position. I suggest you try different SEO techniques, don't do the same method you always does.

Thanks. i just did a order for 100 social bookmarking about a week ago and its now completed. We will see how it goes. And let me add that the website is a ecommerce site and the only thing I really updated was products.

 

Thats probably what happen. i rarely did any kind of Seo work on my ecommerce website after I was ranked high for the keywords. Just recently I did do 100 social bookmarking sites.

 

U r in top position and if suddenly dropped ur keyword position, then it will be back with in a month. Sometimes it may happens. And doing 100 social bookmarking in 1 week is not a good task as i think. Bcoz, if u do much seo also it may become a spam.

Can anybody tell me if a 301 redirect for another url to that website will be seen as dup content and cause me to drop?
